Went there to buy a lens I needed for my DSLR camera. International Electronics superstore Take Care - You pay way to much

Don't buy anything there - they have made a living out of selling at extremely high prices to tourist who not are aware of the right prices. When you ask for a certain product they find and then starts to promote a lot of others. They do it to draw your attention away from the product you asked for. In this way you miss to ask the question "how much is the product you want". So after 10 minutes you return, you trust the sales man and when he mention the price you parades are down and you think its a fair price he gives you. Result - I bought 2 Bowes Hoods for 100 $ - when i came back to my hotel I found out that the real price should have been 25´$. They are con artists - take care.

International Electronics superstore Overpriced and with lying staff

I was deceived by them recently when I had to buy memory cards (8 GB SDHC). The price of the package was $ 399 (!), I paid $ 65. For memory cards that should cost about $ 12.

I could be so fooled because I needed a really high speed card, and when the speed was not specified on the product I trusted the sellers assurance.
After I came out of the store and finally succeeded connect to the mall's wifi, I saw that I been tricked. I contacted the store who just dismissed me. I went to the information desk where they said they could do nothing. Then I talked to a security guard who advised me to fill out a complaint.
Before I went to do this, I returned to the store to tell you what I was going to do. I then managed to get them to replace the product with something that was slightly better but still not near what I needed or what I should get for the money I paid.

I am surprised that a serious shopping mall like Sawgrass Mill's allows scammers to operate in their facilities.
And it is a shame for one so, otherwise, appreciated country like the U.S. (or maybe it's just so in the state of Florida) will not defend the rights of consumers. Legalized scam.

What ist the regular price? Olympus SZ-20 USD 215.95 (International Electronics Superstore [IES] USD 610.00), Lowepro Ridge 30 black Camera Pocket USD 19.75 (IES USD 69.99), Danelec 8 GB Memorx Card USD 7.99 (IES USD 199.99), Vivitar rechargeable battery USD 6, 57 (IES USD 120.00), Plug Adapter 220 USD 2.46 (IES USD 9.99). So we hat to pay USD 802.69 more than regulare Prices are tax included and with "discount"!

We spent holidays in Florida from Mar. 19.12 till Mar.26.12. We went to Sawgrass Mills to something for better prices, because we thought it was an outlet center with prices less up to 70%. We were looking for a professional reflex camera, because my wife is an architect for her profession. We entered International Electronics Superstore and told the employee about our wishes. He told us the Canon Reflex is old and he offers us the newest camera in the world: Olympus SZ-20. It is out only a few days and has top features. He said, that nobody knows that yet and the normal price was USD 1099.99!. He demonstrated the features and offered us the last price: USD 800.00, with an 8GD Memory Card and a Camera Pocket included! We were impressed by the demonstration and we wanted to think about. He set us under pressure to buy the things at once. In the shop it was not possible to look into my iPhone to compare prices, because WiFi does not work! We Paid USD 932.78 Tax included with our Credit-Card on Mar. 25.12 at 12.32h.
On the bill the 3 items were priced separately, before he told us, the Camera Pocket and the Memory Card are gifts!
In the evening we returned to get an 220 Volts Plug Adapter for Europe and a second rechargeable Battery. The employee wanted to purchase USD 211.99! That was too much and we returned the items. The MasterCard Payment was canceled . Then he told us, this is an enormous adapter, working for 20 Years, with no loss of capacity. Both of us do not know anything about electronics, that´s why we trusted him. He offered us the battery for USD 120.00 and the plug-in free. We paid USD 137.79 Tax included on Mar. 25.12.
We returned to our Hotel in the night and we recognized we paid too much. In the internet we saw, that all the items were overpriced.
We contacted International Electronic Superstore by e-Mail three times on from Mar. 26.12. 00.15 h . We wanted to visit the store personally, but auf flight to Newark started at 12.45 h from Fort Myers-Airport and the shops at Sawgrass Mills at Sunset opens at 10.00 am. We wanted to store all items at Sawgrass Mills, but the Management saw no possibility to help, even we wanted to go there on our trip to the Airport at 08.00 . We telephoned two times with the shop, they said it is no possibility to return the items, and we have to com personally. So nothing helped in this moment and we had to leave Florida at Mar. 26.12 at 12.45h.
The thing we are criticising: We went to Sawgrass Mills as Tourists. All the guides are talking about the discount prices over there. We were looking for professional aid in a big, international and well reputed shopping mall. What we get was ripping off! As you can see in some websites, there are more of analog stories in the last 1 ½ years. International Electronic Superstore is ripping off tourists systematically. This is no reputation for a famous shopping Mall likSawgrasss Mills. And no reputation for Florida and The United States of Amerika too! Please help us paying a correct price and deal with us like consumers, who like to visit your country. We have paid USD 930.30 too much. We want to have back this money from criminals in an official Shopping Mall. (Sorry for my english, my mother language is german)

I was Scammed ! They put false sticker on the box, leading me to believe that the sicker was the retail price. Which in fact that was not true and charged me three times the amount of retail. I returned to the store the very next day to return everything I purchase at the store. I told them that I check on line and sow that the retail price was three...
