Scam
COMPLETE SCAM. Had 2 rock chips 'repaired' at the Bowness Calgary location 24 hours ago. They did not drill into the glass, nor did they properly seal the epoxy after applying it! We literally have 2 clumps of glue on our windshield. The tech told us that it should stop the chips from spreading... but you know if it doesn't we can always have the entire windshield replaced! They intentionally damaged our windshield with their improper techniques. We will be perusing all avenues of recourse (including legal) to insure that others do not fall victim to this complete and utter scam.
ROCK CHIP REPAIR SCAM
DO NOT GET ROCK CHIPS REPAIRED HERE. The do not warranty their work, so if the rock chip repair fails you are out of luck. However they will apply the cost of the repair to a new windshield. Long story short we just had 2 rock chips repaired here (small chips, smaller then a dime in size). They did not even drill into the glass nor did they seal it properly afterward! The tech just put some glue on the outside and told us it should stop the chip from spreading... yea right. Cost us $52. The spider marks (cracks) in the glass have already spread (its only been 24 hours!) It's as though they intentionally made the chips worse by applying undue pressure to the chips in order to push us to a complete windshield replacement. We will be filing complaints and seeking legal advice (not for the money, but to hopefully save others from getting scammed like we did). Unbelievable.
