While on a recent cruise on the Carnival Freedom, a room steward entered the room of two young women in our traveling party while they were asleep and molested them. When we complained to security, Carnival staff manipulated the entire situation and ended up stripping the two women of their sign and sail privileges and turned the whole incident into a complaint against the women for loud music and alcohol in their room. They then threatened to remove the women from the ship for the remainder of the cruise - or to not allow them back on board ship should they go ashore. Needless to say, this pretty much ruined the trip not only for the two young women, but also for the rest of our traveling party. Now, after the fact, Carnival refuses to divulge whether ANY disciplinary action was taken against the room steward. Further, they have refused to provide any incident reports or information of any kind regarding our complaint. This room steward illegally entered that room and touched two young, sleeping women. He could, and most likely is, still employed on this ship. Young ladies traveling alone, beware!
