Angelica Drive time / bridgecrest

Today I received a summons due to being sued by a creditor that drive time sold my account to. In September 2017, I purchased a 2013 Altima for $231 every 2 weeks. Within that same year, the transmission had to be replaced. It was replaced and I continued to make my payments faithfully until March 14, 2019 (per summons) due to job loss. The summons also states on on May 22, 2019, I received notice of repossession which is not true! I called Drive Time to inform them that I lost my job and needed them to pick up the car which was a voluntary repossession. At that time, I was given the option to return the car to Drive Time without a fee or have it picked up with a fee, I chose the latter, met the tow truck driver outside and handed him the keys. My contract states I was to pay a total of $31, 911.23 for this 2013 Altima which was more than half of what the car was worth in 2017. I previously stated my $231 biweekly payments were made faithfully for 2 years. The summons also states that I made 132 payments which equals $30, 536 if you do the math. With all that being said, Persolve Recoveries (the collection agency) is suing me for an additional $8, 357.97 and I don't have the car. I would definitely want to be apart of this lawsuit! I can be reached via email at [protected]@gmail.com
