Rehome Adopt A Pet review: Possible scam

Oct 2020 I put my dog Sofie on this site. I have regretted this ever since. Nothing I was told, was true. They emailed me, that a buyer had paid 100.00 for her. This woman was nice over the phone and I told her she could pick Sofie up the next day. A chinese woman showed up and not the woman I had talked too. I called her and she said that was her daughter, and it was very strange, the way she acted. I never got to talk to her again as promised, to see how Sofie was doing. This woman had an FB page, but did not have recent activity. Looked like a fake account. She had a pic of her holding a cocker spaniel, same as Sofie. I thought bc I had seen a Petco sponser sign, on there website, it was safe. When I called numerous Petco's, they said they had no idea what I was talking about. The regret, I live w everyday since. I have never been able to get a response from Rehome or the adopter. I sign into Rehome, and it's like I was never on this site before. NO way to get past main page, or contact no. NO proof at all, I was even on there w Sofie. This to my horror, may be animal testing and fraudulant Pet site. I will never know what they did, to the sweetest little fur bby in the world. I was disabled and had to move to no pet apt, and did not want her in shelter. This place needs to be investigated and find out what they have and still are doing w our pets.
