Rakatak Scooters review: Avoid at all costs 1

We also purchased a Scooter from rakatak.com for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas. We followed the instructions for charging after she opened the box and we put the scooter together. After following all instructions closely the scooter would not run. We called many times as we had the batteries tested resulting in being bad and finally got a hold of someone who really didn't want to do anything about it. Finally they said they would send new batteries. Several weeks later still no batteries, we called to get the response that they were "being charged'. A month later batteries arrived in the mail, they were obviously pulled from another scooter. We put them in, still the scooter does not work, we charged fully, still not working. I have called and called and this company responds now that they have a return policy for all scooters, motorcars, watercrafts, etc. that they are final sale items, there is nothing they will do. I have read many reports of people who have spent thousands of dollars on their scooters and have the same issue. This company is a scam and I feel they are warehousing defective products. When you call them now less than two months since the holidays they now answer as a SPA and Bath company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY..
