Yes, I too have been sucked in by this fraud. I signed up for the "free" samples last year... big mistake on my part. It took about 2 months for the product to arrive, I used it and thought nothing more until more product started arriving without my consent. I didn't want it, but had no way of contacting the company to cancel it. I recently went to my bank to see how I could stop this, my bank manager told me to check my visa statements to see how much had been charged to me. I nearly fainted, almost $1000, all in different amounts, from a few dollars to around $60, the trouble being that they trade under different names to make it less conspicuous. How clever ! I will only get back from my bank the past 90 days, so I am down nearly $700. I won't let this rest, I will be contacting the police and any other organisation i can think of. The stuff is crap too, probably only Sorbolene. They won't get any more out of me, my card has been cancelled, so they can go and sing Dixie for all I care.

Ad clearly stated that a free sample is available with no further obligations; just pay postage. I gave my credit card info, got product, and did not order. Called to cancel but was still charged 2 months for product over 6 weeks later! Now they say I needed to cancel in 14 days. I have a copy of every document and it does not say to cancel anywhere; just free with no obligation.

Why was money taken from my account when i only paid the postage fro a free sample. I never gave authority to take extra money out and NEVER receive a product. Some how, i would like my money back!

I purchased a "free trial" of Pure Lift age-defying formula. Total cost when purchasing was something like US$12. I've now been charged US$87.62 / £55.41 described as "youthsupp... CYP" on my CC statement. So I'll be cancelling my CC and lodging a complaint with my bank. Was anyone successful in getting there money back?

I purchased this product online for a free trial. I emailed them immediately to ask from what date the free trial would commence seeing I am in Australia. I also asked for the number to call if I wanted to cancel the product or was dissatisfied with it and wanted to return it. I did not receive a reply. I recieved pure lift on 21 July a few days later $78.00 was debited from my credit card. I emailed once more and also called the number toll free number that was provided. I do not think the number exists.

This could be a worthwhile scam if one out of 100 women purchased the product world wide.

This company treat potential customers like garbage! They also have committed fraud with me and use the USA POSTAL DEPARTMENT to pay for product stating it was not received or only one product was received instead of the two i sent back. Also the product burns my face and i called and emailed a cancelation back in June like 4 days after i received the product in trail period. Then to my surprise in Oct i received two bills one for 29.04 which was for the trial product then another charge on my credit card for 58.08 . This was not authorized even though it was cancelled back in June. This company tells me to send back both products the trail which because it is a trail period is a sample and should be no charge then they charge your credit card another 58.08 and you have to also pick up the charge to ship it back! Then they press you to put insurance on the product and they repeat it twice! Then i call and they tell me they credited my account for the 58.08 and not the sample which they charged me 29.08 which was firmly wrapped and labeled in one box with order numbers and codes. This company wants the UNTIED POSTAL SERVICE TO PAY! They asked me two times to put insurance on 85.00 dollars twice! This tells you that they most likely have been doing this to customers that send back their product and have the Postal service pay for it. I have never had a companyt ask me to insure a product for such a small amoun t. They repeat this twice to me and when you send product back because you doi not like it they should send you a labeled box and pick up the shipping cost cause you pay for the sample and trail period one when you ask for it! This practice must stop and companies like this should be firmly charged and fined for this kind of fraud. The Postal Service is a government agency and is in the red as a company is run and it is over run with fraud cases like this. Companies like Pure Lift should be charged and fined and made an example of by the USA POSTAL SERVICE and USA Government! Then tax payors have to pay for this fraud! If you receive this letter of complaint send it to the USA POSTAL SERVICE AND BE HEARD AND SAY AS A TAX PAYOR THAT YOU WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS FORM OF FRAUD OR WRONG DOING BY COMPANIES ANYMORE! THE POSTAL SERVICE MUST GO AFTER COMPANIES LIKE PURE LIFT AND COLLECT FINES AND CHARGE MANAGEMENT AND OWNERS FOR THIS PRACTICE! AGAIN THIS COMPANY TACTICS POINTS TO FRAUD AND THEY WANT THE USA POSTAL SERVICE TO PAY FOR IT. TRAILS ARE SAMPLES AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED! NOW WHAT KIND A COMPANY DOES THIS? WHY DO THEY KEEP INSISTING TO PUT INSURANCE ON SUCH A SMALL AMOUNT IF YOU RETURN IT AND KEEP REPEATING IT TO YOU? WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE TO YOU? TO ME IT SOUNDS LIKE FRAUD. WHY WOULD YOU WANT INSURANCE AND KEEP REPEATING ON SUCH A SMALL AMOUNT? THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE CHECKED INTO. HAS THIS PROBLEM HAPPED TO YOU? IF IT HAS JUST SEND A COPY OF THIS LETTER TO USA POSTAL INSPECTION SERVICES. LOOK ALL I WANT IS TO BE TREATED FAIRLY. I DID EVERYTHING I WAS ASKED AND EVEN PACKED IT IN FRONT OF A USA POSTAL AGENT. IT WAS WRAPPED TIGHTLY AND EACH BOTTLE WAS LABELED AND YES IT WAS INSURED. THIS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN ALSO SENT TO OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES FOR ENFORCEMENT! YOU CALL THEM UPAND THEY ARE JUST RUDE! COMPANIES LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS! POOR MANAGEMENT PRACTICES I GUESS. ALL I WANT IS TO BE PAID IN FULL AND TO WARN OTHERS SO IT DOES NOT HAPPEN TO THEM. THIS WAS TRAIL NUMBER IS 198.40 PRINT THIS LETTER ON ALL BLOGS AND WEBSITES YOU CAN THINK ABOUT! I AM DOING SO RIGHT NOW AND HAVE SENT IT TO MANY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD DO IT SO IT IS THEIR FAULT IF GREED AND STUPIDITY IS THE WAY THEY RUN THEIR BUSINESS. TO ALL CONSUMERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! JOHN

This whole thing stinks and I am so angry. Please do not fall into this trap. Above everything else the product is useless, I wish I had just gone to Boots to buy some normal face cream instead of them taking payments from my credit card when they feel like it. Plus the free trial was not even free I paid £7 plus if its a trial then why do they automatically think you will like the product to buy more. I only wanted to try it. Now I am £114 lighter in the bank and received only one trial product.

Does anyone have a contact address or telephone number please as they appear to have vanished off the face of the earth.

Please please anyone reading this Do not fall into this trap like so many of us have done already.

Hi Julieanne,
I have sadly also purchased the so called free trial for Purelift through beuty club, , which i thought was an aussie site as i was directed there while in an aussie site. only to find my sample costing me $13 for international postage and now i find a $96.00 unauthorised charge on my credit card... i have called the bank, , to dispute it but i have to cancel my credit cards to stop it.. what a rip off and yes there is a big National Breast cancer foundation fundraising supporter logo on it which made me think it was ligit... any help would be great...

I wonder if we should notify the Breast Cancer foundation maybe they can do something about it...

Found the telephone number from Australia.. [protected] probably wont do us any good calling them. i am going to contact my bank again and let them know what a worldwide scam these companies are. Cancel your credit card asap... request a new card number.. should only take three working days if you pick it up from a branch.. good luck.

Just a follow on from my earlier message re: Pure Life excess charges, I have just lodged a complaint with my Bank in the UK who already had on file existing complaints about "Vibrant Beauty" and they are currently being investigated. I was advised that if you cancel your card WITHOUT contacting the retail dispute section of your bank, that these companies can continue to charge payments. Here is the small print that this company refer to:

"Once the fourteen (14) day Trial period is over, your Active Credit Card will be charged the monthly Membership fee of Eighty-Seven Dollars and Sixty-Two Cents ($87.62) ("Monthly Fee"). Your next (1) month supply of Clear Lift™ Products will be shipped twenty eight (28) days from the date that your initial one (1) month supply was shipped in connection with your Trial Membership. Thereafter, for as long as your Membership remains active, your Active Credit Card will be charged the Monthly Fee on a monthly basis, for your ongoing Membership. You hereby authorize Clear Lift™ (or its partners, affiliates and/or agents) to charge your Active Credit Card all such fees associated with Membership on a monthly basis. You acknowledge and agree that Clear Lift™ will not obtain additional authorization from you for each installment of Monthly Fees charged to your Active Credit Card. In addition, you do not hold Clear Lift™ responsible for any overdraft charges or fees which you might incur during the ongoing Membership."

"7. Cancellation of Membership. You may cancel your Membership at any time if you are not completely satisfied. To cancel your Membership you must contact Clear Lift™ customer service by contacting Clear Lift™ via telephone at [protected], Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM, MST. Saturday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, MST. Please have your e-mail address and other Registration Data available for efficient processing of your cancellation order. If you decide to cancel your Membership prior to the expiration of the fourteen (14) day Trial Membership period, your Active Credit Card will still be charged the fee of Eighty-Seven Dollars and Sixty-Two Cents ($87.62) at the end of the Trial Membership period. The following conditions apply to any cancellation: (a) you shall not receive any pro-rata refund of your Monthly Fees for partial months; (b) you shall not receive any refund for the Shipping and Handling Fee or Foreign Shipping and Handling Fee, as applicable; and (c) you shall not receive any refund for amounts previously paid up to the date of cancellation or termination and you remain liable for any and all unpaid charges billed by Clear Lift™. You understand and agree that cancellation of your Membership is your sole right and remedy with respect to any dispute with Clear Lift™. Upon any termination and/or cancellation of your Membership, your license grant, as set forth in Section 8 hereinbelow shall immediately terminate"

i have had the same experience as all of you, its a big con, there should be an icon button to click on to say you have to read T's&C's before you submit, I have got through and cancelled my subscription on [protected], but you have to put int.dialling code before that and that will depend where your calling from, it is 001 from UK, they want locking up, they are preying on vulnerable people, i will never fall for a scam like this again, its made me ill to the point where i thought i was going to have a heart attack, my credit card company have been informed and are going to do everything they can to help me but apparently cancelling your card doesnt help, the thieving gets can still access your card, more people must complain, they have to be stopped, the fraud squad /police, whoever need to get involved, they must be STOPPED, you cant e-mail them, god knows what the phone call has cost, ive returned the product and they say they are still going to charge me for future products, so now its cost me a fortune and got NOTHING to show for it, so much for free product, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people.

I also live in Australia. I received the trial pack about three months after I ordered it. I was provided a very lengthy order no. Like a lot of other customers I called the contact number on Mountain Time & there was no reply & or answering machine whatsoever.

My partner discovered $80 of extra fraudulent payments that was taken & has cancelled our credit card.

Do not use this company.

I hope they eventually get caught out & dealth with accordingly.

Hi - I was also unpleasantly surprised with the assumptions this company made and logged my complaint here last night (Maudie05). This morning I called the number on the glossy flyer that arrived with "my new shipment" which is the only contact information they have provided - [protected] and it was dead. No ring tone and eventually just cut off. The web site I googled for them said "this site may harm your computer" - so dont go there either.

I called the number they seem to have provided you above [protected]) which was picked up promptly with "you wish to cancel your subscription?". An employee called Toni (employee id 807) cancelled "the monthly debits". Her response to me saying they had been WEEKLY debits was "sorry about that ma'am". She gave me a cancellation number and assured me it was all behind me. I asked about the 3 new bottles I had received without ordering them and she gave me another number to call for this (NOT the one on the letter).

So then I called [protected] and spoke to April (employer id 155702) who asked which product I was complaining about then looked me up and again has assured me that "your automatic shipment order is cancelled ma'am". When I advised I did not place that order she again said "sorry about that ma'am, you have a good day". Seriously! They are polite and sound very very worn out! Anyway - I asked her bluntly the questions "will there be any more debits?', "will you be accessing my credit card for any further charges?" "will I ever hear from you about any product again", "will I have to cancel my card to get rid of you?"- reply to each was a weary "no ma'am".

I have also advised my bank of this. Just in case - but have not cancelled my card.

Hope this helps you ...

They've gotten 4 payments out of me totalling approx 250.00 NZ dollars, I've closed my account but the bank can't guarantee they won't get more. I can't tell you what I want to do to these people. I suppose it's the universe getting back at me for my vanity.

I also live in Australia. I ordered the free trial in May & as of yet have still not received it, even though I've rung them twice & they've assured me they're resending it. I've also paid the shipping fee & the product fee (all up over AU$100.00). I'm going to ring them again this week to try & get a refund, but I'm not holding my breath.
