Public Automotive in Waco Texas review: Being sold a with bad transmission that is a Lemon and the rude customer service.

I purchased a vehicle for my daughter who was going away to college from Public Automotive in Waco Texas on 8/13/22 and started noticing problems with the transmission pretty much immediately. I contacted them after having a diagnostic done twice, and was informed that their shop had to perform their own diagnostic or it would void the use of the warranty they offered. I have been back and forth with the company since day 4 of purchase regarding the issue. They have had the car in their procession for more than 3 weeks since the purchase, starting on day 5. They are extremely rude when I call to ask details on the status of the vehicle and I have been given the run around since the first time the car was taken to them for the problem. I requested a refund for my down payment and to see what needed to be done to get out of the contract on day 17 since they didn't seem to have a concern for the issue. I have been told since 12 days after purchase that the Regional manager would give me a call back since I was so displeased with the poor customer service we had been shown with no call back. I have also been told more than 3 times I would get a call from the regional manager regarding getting out of the contract and getting a refund but I have still not heard back. Today is 9/19/22, and they still have the vehicle in their procession (at the shop) for transmission repairs, but still are unable to give any details on status of repair or the refund and ending of the contract that I have requested. We have made 1 additional payment as well as paid for auto insurance on this vehicle that we have been able to drive for maybe 8 days. At this point, this has been the worst experience that I have ever had and more depressing for my daughter who had to drop out of the school she was attending due to the car situation.

Desired outcome: I am wanting to get a full refund from the company for the down payment and 1st payment and be out of the contract with this company.
