hello, It seems like who ever came out to service the washer, tech must be new or he just doesn't want to work or to figure out the problem. They do have number to call for tech support. Call back to service and ask for senior tech (they refer to this, tech who cares about customer washer, senior tech will spend time to troubleshoot correctly). :)
DON'T BUY LG WASHER OR DRYER OR DISHWASHER OR REFRIDGERETOR!
THEY ARE JUNK!

I work for washer repair service. Home Depot has their warranty for washer and dryer you buy from store. You need to find out name of warranty group and phone number to call for service. GE does not sell you warranty, don't get confuse about this. Place you bought washer sells warranty not from GE.

You bought third party warranty, its big mess and Home Depot does not explain to customer about warranty they sell.

I read your comments, GE has their service people. You can request serivice company called A&E Factory Service, its third party repair company. They are professional and technician are very knowledgeable and very nice. They know what they are doing compared with other service company.

I read your comment, many of companies or manufacture they give you run a round time, sometimes store limit themself giving you 7 days or 48 hours to either return or exchange the washer. When you have problem then call manufacture and they will give you phone number for repair service. They will not exchange unit or give you refund. If you want to return or exchange the washer, store has do it. Talk with store manager if you return or exchange for better one. Don't waste time calling manufature number, they will just give you run around.

It used to be lot better, They hire employee(mexican) doesn't know how to install washer or dryer correctly...They install them so fast...hot fill comes in cold water...cold fill comes in hot water...it shrinks my cloth...
I read your comments: You should know about their back ground. Maytag Service Technician no longer exist. A&E Factory Service took over Maytag. Do you remember Mogomerry Co? Guess what A&E Factory service took over. Some of comments I read It seems you got lazy tech. There is lazy tech out there, who does not care about the work they do. Tenician can buy part from local store if they stock it and repair on same day. Once tech ordered parts and you want parts to be delivered within 3 days, call manufacture, sometimes they sent parts out very next day.

It looks like you might got a lazy tech or customer service is lying to you. Routing controls each tech's schedule on that day. They keep telling lying to customer.

Anyway, They are changing customer service and routing officers and lay off a lot of people this year. I dont know that's good idea. There are so many people loosing a job.

anyway, this year A&E factory service will get better...they better to survive...
