Omni Blender gets my vote. I just bought one and recieved it today. I did a few searches for alternatives to blendtec and vitamix and omni seemed like the closest competitor at a pretty hefty price cut. It does take about 20 secs longer to blend to the same consistency as the vitamix/blendtec but its worth saving 200+ dollars. I'm suprised Vitamix hasn't replied at all lately. They just don't have any ground at all to stand on and are just being punks about the whole situation. I'll be recommending omni blend and discouraging people from buying Vitamix.
