Oh i agree and just had the same thing happen this am, he stated i had an acct placed with them from columbia gas from 3 years ago. I asked for a letter with the columbia gas acct number on it for verification he stated no they sent one in June(this is march). i stated i apologize but I never recd such a letter and i havent lived at that address for going on 4 years now i find it odd they are just now contacting me-- he became increasingly more rude to me and harrassing- i said i would give him no financial info over the phone and he stated he was just going to place negative info on my credit report i said well do what you have to do then, all i am asking for is a letter for validation and i will take care of the bill he refused and said i havent taken care of it in 9 months and i asked him if he was really going to argue with me on the phone about money he could get if he just sent me a letter with the columbia gas acct number and amt owed and he said yes, then said he was going to make sure i paid for it and was going after my credit report then hung up on me... ? this is a reputable company
