I think this is absurd for a big company like Vitamix to actually come up with something like this. It just shows how a big company can bully the smaller guys, because they are afraid of competition. I say if they are truly intimidated by another product, then they should act upon it, embrace it, and lower their dam price! Which, when you think about it, is absurd to begin with! I was too thinking about buying a Vitamix blender, but now after reading all this, I am having serious second thoughts.
