I currently attend Blanche Macdonald in the Fashion Merchandising program. I love everything about this school. About two weeks before the Christmas break was supposed to start there was a girl in my class and her dad passed away. The teachers let her leave two weeks early for christmas and gave her the time to make up all the assignments and to do the final exams. I have found that the teachers are relevant to the industry and the environment is very relaxed. My first semester was hard but very do-able, and at the start of my school year I got a contract reviewing all the terms for expulsion and so forth. We signed a contract stating that if you miss more then 2 classes per course that you get a warning and if the problem occurs often that you will get terminated from the program. This contract was well worded and there was absolutely no "small print references" and I understood it very well. I really think that this school is the BEST hair, make-up and fashion school in Canada.
