Oh by the way anyone can actually call this toll free number for the Boost Mobile executives office here in the US. They seemed to have better knowledge and sympathy for the customers. Here's the number: [protected]. I switched anyways... To another company, so ta la la Boost Mobile!
I had the same exact issues as you did! You should of filed a complaint with the Attorneys General Office of Ohio. I did and I was rewarded a $200 check from them. Apperantly it's a huge issue with this crappy company. Their teenage customer service reps are a big fat joke to all customer service agents out there! I was told by the AGO that if they receive any more complaints in high volume that this company will not only pay again but will be severely punished. They do use Verizon Wireless towers but no longer can use their phones because as I was told Verizon doesn't want them to be offiliated with them after the law suit. I called them one time at 8:00 CST and they close at 9 my time I was told to hold by the AVR system when I finally got a hold of someone it was like 8:50, the lady who anwsered was very rude, I asked for a supervisor and she put me on hold, now it's 8:58 and she picked up I heard people in the background and she hung up on me. Then they canceled my service. So I filed the complaints against them.I hope to god they go out of business. What a shame to have such a company around and sucking the money out of people who want to save money by trusting them and get fooled and tricked by them.
I called their customer service on October 16th 2011 about 9 times in a row to get hung up on my face 8 out of 9 times. When I finally get someone What they do is hang up on me. I hear someone on the line for a split second and then click. Their customer service center is located in Mexico and Southeast Asia. So their reps don't care about people who live in the States. I will be returning the phone back to the store and cancel their service. Their customer service gets an absolute F-. Do not get their service unless you like being hanged up on.
I received several gifts as far as money that was deposited into my account goes from friends, family, etc. For example if I receive $200 I would end up only having like $190 in my account. So I called and spoke to one of their foreign customer service reps that are either in Southeast Asia or Mexico and they told me both that paypal now charges new fees for receiving money. There was absolutely NOTHING that I ever received that states that. I will be filing a claim with the Attorneys Generals Office and file a serious complaint against them. I would absolutely love to cancel my account, but having a paypal account is vital for buying things on eBay.
Cancel www.yourpaypal.com account. They are pathetic and cheap. I hope an alternative will come soon.
