I did a paydayloan over the internet a few days ago. Last night an unauthorized electronic check hit my account. After research the check for 49.95 is drawn on New Dominion Bank- I called and spoke with Pete Norman [protected] at that bank, who seemed very calm and felt like its just a misunderstanding. He gave me a # to call to speak with someone from everprivate ([protected]) I then called [protected] and talked with a rep , who referred me back to the web page to fill out a form and receive confirmation from the co. that i supposed to have agreed to withdraw the 49.95 . I received a ticket # 86645 and should expect to hear from them within 24 to 48 hrs. We'll see.
Ordered tires at Sears Automotive, paid for them, 3 days later, not sure if the tires were ordered per sales rep. Called 6 days later to tell me that tires were never ordered and could not be ordered at this time. Held funds for 12 days before crediting my account.
Purchased mattresses, sales rep stated that items would be delivered next day. Questioned him several times confirming delivery date because of work schedule. Product was never delivered, when I called the store, the clerk had no record of delivery for next day. It was to be delivered 3 days later. Would not have purchased items if there was no next day delivery. Amount has been debited from my credit card and interest is accruing. This seems to be an ongoing thing with businesses these days. There should be a law protecting us from this type of fraud. The sales reps are not being honest. They are holding the consumers money and earning interest on it.
