We had a problem with Sofas and seats as well. Two weeks after we purchased furniture over $2000, 2 of the pieces ripped. One was so bad that the stuffing kept falling on the floor. We called them to let them know, along with the fact that they ripped our brand new carpeting as they slid a coffee table without it's rollers across it. They said they would send someone out to repair it. After 2 years and 6 phone calls later (phones which eventually became disconnected)and planning an out of state move, I called again. I find out now that they have switched owners in the last 6 months. I was very impressed that the new owner was very willing to solve my problem immediately.
They claim that they are still receiving calls from unsatisfied customers due to the previous owners lack of responsibility.
So hopefully, I'll be able to shop there again.
I've had 3 sears refrigerators and all of them now have had broken crispers and door shelves. After the door handle on one kept breaking, I called in for repair and without me knowing about it, the repairman wrote in that I was not eligible for renewing my warranty. Three years later is when I find out trying to renew. I would have had them serviced before it ran out. But I guess they figured that. I now buy nothing from them.
My biggest problem is that I think they knew about it for awhile so they could've told us before 2/3. TT said refund would be dd on 2/4, but wmr/irs said 2/15 from the start. The bank that deductions were going through had a problem with their security certificate so I got nervous and tried to change it. Spent 2 hours with a a tt employee with less intelligence than an apple, only stating she didn't know why the different dates, but it would be dd on 2/4. I called irs right after and they had no information on my taxes other than it was accepted and they had no dd information on it so it would be mailed.
