I COMPLETELY AGREE with the above negative posts. We originally hired Nationwide Home Relief over a year ago for 2400 they advised us to stop making our morgage payments and if a modification offer was not obtained than we would get a FULL REFUND. I'm now sitting here over a year later with no modification our home in foreclosure and Atlantic Leagal group now saying that I need to pay them an add'l 700 retainer and 450 per month.
PLEASE NOTE that they will tell you over and over agin that Nationwide Home Relief / First Legal Group and now Atlantic Legal Group are not the same companies. PLEASE do you really think the general public is stupid? It's a matter of public record on Sunbiz that ALL three companies are owned by the SAME PEOPLE! William Ridings and Kent Gross!
They don't return calls unless they are looking for money and Dan Benjamin in their collections department actually told me that he "makes his morgage payment" how condecending! Like I'm a piece of SH#&! I'm not the only person going through this right now! Both my husband and I are colleage graduates with professional careers. We were stupid enough to sign a 3 year arm and with the housing colapse we are now upside down in our home so no one will refi us, a modification is our only hope...THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!
They are now calling themselves ATLANTIC LEGAL GROUP - Same owners WILLIAM RIDINGS & KENT GROSS although they claim they are not just check it out on SUNBIZ.org Nationwide Home Relief closed and reopened under First Legal Group and now they are ATLANTIC GROUP! I would think that the AG could stop them from pulling the same scan over and over!
