We purchased a puppy from Revelation Danes in Novemeber of 2009. It was a Merle male. Aside from the delays in getting the papers, I am curious as to everyone's experience with the temperament of the puppy they have gotten from Revelation Danes. Our puppy (now 8+ old) is VERY hyper and assertive (not aggressive). He shows no signs of being "mellow." We have tried professional training & barking collars. His demeanor seems to contradict all of the research we did about the Great Dane breed. Certainly, one has to expect a higher level of energy with a puppy, but the level of energy, mouthiness and inability to coexist with our other dog suggest the temperament of our Dane is on the very strong end. I am curious if this has been anyone else's experience with puppies from Revelation Danes.
