After months of email, Mike Warren and his team finally delivered the product. They even offered to send the first series and did deliver that as well. Don't know if I would try them again though as I was never able to talk with a live person, only communicated via email. Bottom line, I will only TRY an offer as long as it has a full money back guarantee or a trial period!
First I apologize for not following up on my original complaint. After an extended period of time, Mike Warren's support team did contact me and I did receive the materials that I had paid for. I checked "agree, " but free coaching was NOT offered as I'm sure I would have taken advantage of that. Or it may have been offered with catches/conditions which were not to my liking. Honestly I don't remember the specifics. However, they did offer to send the first set of training materials (I had paid for the second) for free and I did accept that. I did receive these materials within a reasonable time.
A comment: I've been told by a coach who works for a similar company that most of these RE investor companies who offer training probably focus their staff on sales. These companies hold webinars and boot camps and sell training. Their staff is dedicated to these activities. So it is probably not intentional that these companies might be lacking on the support side. I'm not sure if this is the case with Mike Warren's company, but in the end they did deliver and went beyond the original commitment by sending free training materials.
A 2nd comment: For those of you who are reading this, please please! If you purchase training, make sure you establish the goals you wish to accomplish with that training. And do NOT buy any more training until you've accomplished those goals! I am successfully investing in RE today because I took the training (mostly received from one source), determined what would work for me and TOOK ACTION! Best to All!
Not really, but I did not go thru them thoroughly. I just scanned the materials and I found that his program seemed to contain most of the same material that most RE gurus were teaching. Most of my RE training came from the original course that I purchased. I made use of the program by applying what worked best for me. A lot of what I learned enabled me to speak and understand the language especially when I worked with realtors, title companies, etc. And that is my suggestion: Buy one program, stick with it until you've applied what you learned. DO NOT, DO NOT fall into the trap of buying, buying, and then ending up with a library full of unused, dusty RE investing programs. Key word: Apply! Take action. After 2 years, I finally did and it paid off with the completion of my first succesful out of state deal. Though it gets tougher, we continue to buy houses and complete successful deals. Good luck with whatever program you choose!
Heh Richard,
I am not associated with MISU University. My comments are under blueskies22. Though I would not buy from them again, I suggest you keep trying. How long has it been since you tried contacting them? For sure, their customer service is lacking, but they did follow up, perhaps months after my initial attempts to contact them. Keep trying.
On another note, the 3 day rule does not apply to all sales. It was really meant to keep door to door sales people honest. I think MISU does follow this rule since you did not go to their office thus making it similar to door to door sales. Hope you get to work this out to your liking.
