Unfortuantely I had a similar situation. They trick you into unknowingly sign up for their Quiz Services. I don't know how they did it but they kept sending me text messages. I deleated them but I think I sent them a response to remove. A few days go by and I decided to call T-Mobile my carrier and complain. That's when I discovered the monthly $9.99 charges. I don't even subscribe to unlimited text messages because the most I ever sent is 14 in one month and recluctantly so a I respond with simple yes or no most the time to people who text me. I hate texting. Can't see the little damn letters and numbers wihout putting on my glasses. So I had T-Mobile remove the charges and called [protected] where your greated with a auto voice message asking to press 2 if you want to delete. I dialed 0 and held the line for about 10 minutes before Brittany came on. I aired out my complaint. I don't do games or quizes. She gave me their website and I never saw it before. I think it was a quiz I received in an e-mail from a friend...remember when ? How much was gasoline in 1963? That kind of thing. And that prompted the call to my phone which they say I put in a 4 diget code. Anyway Brittany said she would end my account but refused to refund the $9.99. I told her my next call would be to the California Attorney General (web page) and that's another dead end.
