I have a Peachtree door with 10" side lights with a circle top window. The window is double pane with e-glass. It's supposed to be energy efficient. After about 5 years, I noticed that the circle top window wouldn't come clean when washed. Turns out the dirt was on the inside of the glass. The window was leaking. I called Peachtree and they sent out a representative who told me - "Don't worry about a thing. Your door is guaranteed for 20 years. We'll get a new window right out to you." It came shortly there after, but it was the wrong size! Now comes the fun part. First they didn't believe me. Even after I read the order number for the new window, they wanted the manufacturing code that is stamped inside the old window, and when I gave them that, they said THAT wasn't right. And this is their door! They made it! Then I had to take pictures and take measurements (which they said didn't make any sense) and fax all that to them. Well, none of that was any good, so now they want me to make a template of the glass out of anything I want. (paper, aluminum foil, plaster of paris, wallpaper, what...!? I'm going to do it, but this is it. I'm going to be talking to my attorney next if I don't get results from this cluster f#@K.
