We spent over $10, 000 for Peachtree doors and windows less than 9years ago. We went with Peachtree for their lifetime warranty.. HA.. There is no such thing as a lifetime warranty with Peachtree. Its only good for as long as they make the product line. We bought numerous sliding Carvel doors and a Fiberglass front door with side lights, tons of windows. The window are still fine. The SlidingDoors did not hold up, I have one that faces the south and the frame rotted out in 7 years! of course, peachtree can't honor the warranty because they stopped making that door. As For my Fiberglass front door the door itself is good. The cheap, crappy wood they used around it rotted out in 8 years even with paintings. Peachtree will not respond to the calls, or e-mails. They claim they don't cover rott. DO NOT BUY THEIR DOORS! I have an Andersen door and it is over 20 years old and it is still going strong. I probably wouldn't be so upset, had I not paid a premium for the products with the lifetime warranty. Just send me my parts, thats all I wanted! To buy after market parts for the doors, it will cost me 800 to replace the framing- that is pure nuts!
