Well I must say that I purchased my Peachtree sliding patio door over 20 years ago. After installing I noticed part of the wood frame was warped. I called a rep and a new piece was sent out immeadiately. All worked well.
My door has been great, except for the locking mechanism. I have tried to fix it but haven't ever been successful, so I just live with it.
My problem is the screen door. My screen is inside of the patio door not outside like most doors. People continuely run into the screen mostly when it is dark. I have had to replace the entire screen door as the aluminum frame bends all to heck and impossible to fix.
It just happened again and I don't know if I'll be able to replace it if we are not able to get it bent back in shape. There should have been a better design or a heavier frame.
I will let you know what happens.
