OMG. duh! The company is in China which is the #1 capital country for scams, fakes, counterfeit merchandise. Just think about it...have you ever had anything that said made in China that didn't fall apart after a few months? Not sayin your phone fell apart but the business obviously did...if there was one to start. But hey, at least you have an Iphone. Just get another carrier.
Doesn't Magic Jack utilize a VOIP service? It allows a person to call all over the world for cheap. Did you get software that gives you a control panel or something? It shouldn't matter what phone you have unless you expect others to call you. It will be long distance for them unless they had magic jack too. But yes, Magic Jack seems like a shoddy business. I'm investigating Dan Barislow, inventor of magic jack along with a slew of other companies. And you are right, you get what you pay for.
