I dont see the action you were advising everyone to follow if you had not been paid by Caviness? I am curious about couple things. Were you ever paid? and what was your trade? Knowing the name of your company as well as your trade would have been helpful, I would like to see what type of marks you possibly have out there since you seem to not want to list any info about your little company and all your hardwork right?.
Caviness was and is an excellent GC, I worked on many jobs with them and found them to always be fare and most of all stand by their word. If my trade was behind, i received the same notices, check holds that any other company big or little would have received. They above all stayed neutral.
Honestly whom ever you are "Concerned for You", do your paper work correctly and submit timely, stay away from state jobs and keep your big mouth shut when you should and most importantly READ YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN IT.
