I recently purchased the 2014 australia pcgs ms70 wedg tailed eagle from govmint. It had scrathes on the silver coin. I figured since its already graded ms70 i will keep it. My most recent purchase was the london and the lion 1 ounce silver (Ultra cameo gem proof) well it arrived with scrathes and smudge marks on the coin. I called my sale rep from govmint and explained the problem and said that i am returning for an exchange. With tension in his voice he said you know its only a proof you should expect flaws. No way, not for a $160 (Ultra cameo gem proof coin) now if you went out and bought a brand new car and the day you pick it up their are scrathes and scuff marks on it, would you accept it. I would not, i would ask for another one that does not have defective marks on it. This is the 3rd time i received an item from govmint that was scrathed or damaged. I am not talking trash about govmint. They just need better quality control on products they send out. Or since i only buy items $200 or below they just grab anything without checking for flaws and just send it out becuase i am not a high roller big cash customer. I am sure that there clients who order $3000 coins do not have this problem. Govmint goes over there orders with a microscope. I am just a little guy in their eyes because of my $200 or less items i order. I have bought atleast 10 or more coins from them so far. All i am asking is to treat me equal just like that high roller $3000 coin buying customer.

Hey its me again, the little guy who exchanged his $160 2014 london & the lion (Ultra cameo proof) because it was scratched and smudged. Well i just got my exchange (Ultra cameo proof) today. And guess what, yup, you know it. My new $160 ultra cameo proof) has $160 dollars scratches. And to make matter worse. The 6 scratches are on the most important part of this $160 (Ultra cameo proof) . The scratches go right across the date that is on the coin. I would like to give management and those blind product pickers a big round of applause, yeah you, come on step right up and accept your customer appreciation award. And i will keep this a secret. Somebody told me that these $160 (Ultra cameo proofs) are not graded and it is normal to have flaws. Well i was on a grading website and a ultra cameo proof should have a mirrored silver flawless shine with no imperfections. Imperfections could mean the loss of thousands on any future value of any (Ultra cameo proof) . I know my ###, and if you ever need a quality control consultation expert to help out, give me a jingle. Oh i am so sorry, i heard the good news that was explained to me about how you guys sold almost a million in gold coins in one day. I thank you for bragging about it, but what you were politely saying was, hey little guy we don't need your business. I quess my father was right, he used to always tell me that once a company or person makes their first million they forget their roots. And how the little guy helped them get to where they are !

Be careful. When you buy a high grade coin from govmint and have a problem with the product you receive. And you return for an exchange. How do you know if govmint gets grading containers from the companies who grade the coins. And are just putting in a cheaper version of your product into the grading container and then sending it to you. You dont think it does not get them mad enough to do that to you. Especially if you had mutiple problems with orders from them. I think they just did that to me on my most recent exchange. So now i have to have coins experts check out what they sent me to see what the real grade of my coin is. I might just have it sent out to be regraded. I need to know if i was ripped off by my sales rep.
