$16 for 8 pc chicken (that's $2 per piece! including that little meatless wingy dingy) is a lot to pay, but expecting something "time honored" and edible for that kind of money isn't necessarily out of the question, if that's what your taste buds are wanting. But dried up woody chicken meat at $2 a piece NO WAY! So, I'm outing the KFC in Petoskey, Michigan...

Bought a new top load whirlpool machine with this he logo sticker, and a small (but biggest I could find) agitator and looked like the old timiest automatic I could find. Wrong. Total junk! 80 minute electricity guzzling cycle. Clothes come out sopping wet. 3 out of 5 loads (2 of them tiny loads, lightweight stuff; the other (heaven forbid) contained a bath...
I do my own taxes. Elementary arithmetic for sure, but if you ever spent undistracted time actually reading the instructions for 1040 et al, you soon see how the big boys cut their tax bill. Undistracted is the key word. You need to flip pages, back and forth, read stuff over again, think about what you read, go get the stuff you have that you think...
The baked chicken (early December, 2017, a Thursday afternoon) was dry as wood. Dried up woody stuff on charred bones ...100% INEDIBLE. Other items I usually eat there were strangely flavorless (the cold salad bar was good as usual though). Big difference from 7 months ago and before that. The place was deserted too - I can see why. Once a regular customer...

I didn't order. Just spent some time looking at the site for possible purchase. Thank goodness I did. Just a suggestion: Read everything before you order. They warn you about everything. I don't know about their return policy but it sounds shady. First off, notice that the shades (cellular in particular) are shown in pictures (lovely, eh?) INSIDE hung in...

Wednesday evening, October 4, 2017 10:30-ish PM If I'm going to pay $4.39 for a "single" hamburger, for starters, that hamburger better be right off the grill. Not having sat at room temperature for a half hour or more Right off the grill, babe! $4.39 isn't chump change. Wendy's prices have never been cheap, but the product supposedly sells on quality NOT...

Twice now, I've been harrangued by a WalMart employee. Yelling at me, a customer...like I'm their subordinate, in front of other customers, no less!Only asking a question regarding normal everyday service that I expect in a normal store in a 21st century Western country. Hey! Aye-hole! Listen up. It's MY money (not your boss'es - or whoever the clown wa...

Purchased a hermetically sealed corned beef brisket with an out date of Dec, 2016 ( a month from now). Purchased in late October, this was kept for later use in a consistent 35 degree F refrigerator. Darkened areas with bluish discoloration noted upon opening. Smelled like an autopsy. Now 2 out of three meat purchases from this store were rotten meat...

As I often did in past years, I went there for an oil change and asked them to rotate my tires. Oil change and tire rotation was entered on the bill. They refused to rotate my tires but instead did the spiel about you need new tires, like RIGHT NOW! The gauge showed a good 10 to 15, 000 miles left on those tires. I said "not today - just rotate them." They...

Tai Pei box calls its product "egg rolls" as in "egg roll" in big letters on the front of the box. But these things taste weird, cook weird, and are anything but an egg roll. Why? Just turn the box around and in small print it says "wraps" ..."whole grain." WTF? Some neurotic health nut decided to produce an egg roll - looking thing with whole grain...

For almost 60 years that I can recall, a White Castle hamburger was..simply a White Castle hamburger, A good tasty hamburger, always full of taste no matter what you added to it - in fact "with nothing" was just fine. It was a MOIST hamburger, with a "mucky" moist bun and fully hydrated onions. They were steamed. It was part of the process. Not anymore. Dry...

Before you decide to take home laminate sample(s) or order samples online (at $5 each), ask first if that product is still available. There is a good chance it isn't. 3 of seven (store and online ordered samples) I was considering were discontinued products. They do not update the sample board or the online sample selection. You can waste a great deal of...

Second time (a year apart) that this has happened. If you are looking for laminate flooring at Lowe's BE AWARE. The sample board (like, 80 samples) where you'll look for something of interest is apparently never updated. Three of four samples I checked out, were items no longer available. What a waste of my time and effort! To top it off, it took me 10...

Expensive Big Mac, bad for twenty years, now, worse than ever. Now $4.25 + a crack, the bun is a dried up piece of whatever, which ruins everything else about this once, many years ago, very good hamburger. Totally TOTALLY ruined. These days, I go to McDonalds twice a year (usually out of desperation) and am now convinced that it isn't worth the trip, let...
