So does Indonesia has any law against such company? If not, how to report?
If there are enough complaints, MAS might ask CAD to investigate.
Read today (18/9) ST news. Some angry investors went to AWI office & police was called in. AWI might be close for a few days to avoid the press.
For those who have not gotten your login and wonder what happen to your wine, you might want to contact the CEO of CWT Asia directly and cc: Fadzli and Guillianno from TBW.

They are afraid to face existing clients as most of the agreement had matured & most clients will be demanding buy back on all the wines.
The company admin and account are all in a mess, even after taking over AWI for more than 1 and 1/2 yrs. Do email to the CWT CEO directly as indicated in my previous post to verify your wine. For those who have not logged a police report, please do so. We need the authority to put a stop to this kind of unethical business.
If the company in Jakarta had close, there's no way u can get back ur money. Unless, u r dam rich and bother to come to S'pore to compliant to our govt, u can forget about ur money. Sorry, to be so blunt.
George, if your contract is with AWI, then TBW will say not their problem. But if your contract with TBW, you can try getting a lawyer to send them a demand letter.
You may also want to seek MP Teo Ser Luck's help as he recently had spoken in news about having a separate authority to look into fair trade to protect consumer.
Vikram, u can try contacting CWT CEO to help verify your wine if is in the warehouse.

There's 7 days cooling period which u can reject the offer or contract. Don't believe in Alvin Lim who is the director of AWI now & never put in more $.
VikramS, if u have proof on the purchase of d wine, u r the owner then go and make a police report to show CWT, u r the owner and transfer the wine to ur own name. Then TBW/TBH can't hold u by ur throat to force u to comply or invest more.
VikramS, trust me that they r just scaring u into putting more $. In this kind of situation just make a police report to show them that they r not above the law. For your info, wat they r getting fr CWT storage isn't that expensive. For a case of 6 bottles (0.75ml) is only $1/mth if is a case of 6 bottles (1.5L) is $1.20/mth. So if u have 300 bottles of 0.75ml then is only $50/mth. When they say $4k-$5k for storage, is like anyhow plucking a figure in the air, unless u really have more than 600 bottles of wine in ur portfolio storing for 3 yrs. By the way, 1st 3 yrs should be free when u purchase the wine. If they r not honoring it, get a black & white fr them then go CASE.
They tried that kind of trick on me before but I challenge them on their accounting and warn them that I'll take legal action if their accounts r at fault. In the end, they wave off my storage fee and allow me to move my wine. Don't go easy on them but u must do ur homework well. Do PM me if u want to know the rate CWT given us (the grp I'm with) a yr back.
Arghhhh, if u have sign less then 5 working days, there's a 5 working days cooling period. Send them an email and quickly go to CASE to lodge a complain. Why do they want your wine even it is hard to sell? Obviously, is worth more then just the RUM. U can still void the contract if is not too late.
Jaiditya, did u just bought it recently fr TBW? This is what u should do ...
1) Fix a date w Mark to go down and inspect ur wine.
2) Note down the name of CWT staff who bring out the wine, get his contact if possible.
3) Request immediately to have ur login id and password. Ask Mark to bring u to the CWT admin to get it done on the spot.
4) Get the contact of the admin person who handle ur login account, say u need a contact if account not working.
5) Go back send email to CWT staff cc: CWT CEO to ensure no one can move ur wine without ur permission.
6) Source for buyers and sort out tax and gst later. Aus wine usually wont be gd after 10 yrs, best sell it within 5 yrs fr produced yr.
Arghhhh, don't lodge the complain to CASE as a investment, it is not under their purview. But lodge it as exchange of physical goods which you feel that there was a short change in ur favour like no proper price list or evaluation done. Base on that, u want to void the contract or agreement u signed. Thanks.
Seriously, they need to honor the fact that those wine belongs to the client not AWI or TBW. Show them what was honored previously why not now ...
We had been interviewed by Sunday Times journalist & the news is out today. There a lot of investors here but all the police report or complaints to MAS & CASE were all turn to deaf ears, sadly to say ...

Anyone got contacted by ITRA recently and attended their so call "Registration" class suit on AWI? The journalist like find out more too ...
lchp, 2002 Haan Merlot? That's what I bought in 2005, and is already more than 10 yrs, don't think u can sell it for more than $50. I think u can just drink up the 12 bottles. Sorry, that will be the truth ...
CC Lee, since u r getting ur dividend why r u looking for class action against AWI? I'm wondering how Alvin is paying u when AWI is like a empty shell ...
Alvin, u hv never given a good advice. How can we trust u?
