I made the serious mistake of buying a GE Profile washer and dryer. The washer stopped spinning at approx. 6 months old. The dryer stopped turning making a serious sound soon after. The first repairman told me to buy the extra warranty because I would need it with these units. The dryer stopped today for the same reason again. I asked the consumer relations for a new dryer and they told me that the lemon law did not apply to GE brands. What a stupid - - - - -. I am going to contact Lowe's and see if I can get any relief from them. I am probably going to contact my local news group and let them know so they can let put it on the news about the trouble I'm having.
