I have to agree with you about the receptionists. None of them sound caring, they always sound so miserable every time I call them and are quick to throw you on hold.
I had been taking my birds there for a few years & my mom took her dog there. She always had great service & loved them there so I followed her there with my dog.
I had a very new inexperienced vet I think... which I don't feel should have been left to do the exam along what so ever! She stumbled through asking me the routine questions trying to remember everything. Then gave me a free sample of advantics which could have killed my new puppy. It was for dogs 15 pounds and up... however my little puppy was only 3 pounds!
After weighing my dog she told me to put the whole bottle on her, and when I got home is when I read it & realized I could have killed my 2 month old 3 pound dog!
Definatley READ everything and ask LOTS of questions before trusting any of them again!
