I know this may sound mean.. i know they have people who will lose their jobs.. but I AM SO ECSTATIC THAT LEVITZ WENT BANKRUPT! I've been wishing for this since I bought a couch and love seat almost two years ago! Just like the rest of the complaints, they did not deliver on time and when they finally delivered, it had a broken part. They promised to REPLACE the couch... and I waited..and waited..and waited... but no sofa came... Instead, every month I was getting a mail from them that there was no sofa available - that went on for almost 12 months ! When they stopped sending their mail, I finally called them and the operator told me that it was my fault because "I did not follow up with them." In the end, they just had someone fix the couch instead of their promised replacement. That was the first and last time I've dealt with them.

I think one reason Levitz went bankrupted is their lousy SERVICE... You lose one customer, that person can tell ten people and so on... That's what i did. Again, I don't feel guilty saying I AM SO HAPPY LEVITZ IS GONE!
