I hate to have to say it, but I agree with this comment. I too have just been scammed by lostmyphone.com. I decided to order a refurbished phone through the company because my battery no longer worked and I wanted a new style phone with a working battery at a reasonable price.
Shipping problems were similar to the one described above. I paid extra for the 2 day fedex ship and after not receiving my order in three days I called fedex and discovered that they did not have my correct address and I had to pick it up at the fedex company.
Upon receiving my phone I discovered the "back door" battery cover did not fit the phone and was cracked. I called to complain and was told I'm mistaken and all of their phones are tested before shipped. After a week of complaining they said they would send me a new back door so I decided to have the phone activated.
I called sprint to have my phone activated and was told that the ENC# came up lost or stolen. I called lostmyphone.com and explained to them what happened and I was told "you just spoke to a difficult customer service rep at Sprint, go into the Sprint store and they will activate it.
I went into the Sprint store to activate the hone and again it came up "Lost or Stolen" by some mortgage company. In addition the sprint store had to keep the phone and return it to the company it was stolen from.
Long story, short: I'm out $123 for the cost of the phone + shipping and handling. And in the end I had to spend money on a brand new phone anyway.
I will be contacting lostmyphone.com today to seek a full refund, but I sure won't be holding my breath.
Whatever you do, do not use this company to purchase a cell phone.
