I needed a pastel color and instead received a dark color printing paper and a e-mail from the representative with no apologies
" You received what you ordered. We cannot guarantee the color to be exact due to differences of monitor hues and brightness. This paper is pastel green. We can certainly return this since it is unopened, but please be aware, since you received what you ordered, you would be responsible for the return shipping costs. Just let us know." Customer service was terrible.
The company issued a full refund after publishing my experience online. . Also, after writing my experience about of this company (My Office Innovations) via Amazon the company immediately received five positive testimonies the next day. The seller, Gina McBride never offered a formal apology and never acknowledged that her behavior was morally and ethically questionable.
Re: Gina McBride's statement "We cannot guarantee the color to be exact due to differences of monitor hues and brightness" - was this fact disclosed in its advertising? If company knows about defects in its products and fails to disclose the facts so consumer can make an honest and informed decision about purchasing, then it is fraudulent misrepresentation. By the intentional refusal to honestly and in good faith disclose what this company clearly is aware of, they are cheating the consumer knowingly. Not only the consumer but other businesses that are not deceitful and unethical are unfairly losing sales that went to this company. This is deceitful business practices, bad faith dealing, and you should not have had to pay to return item. They should have paid because of a defective product. My own personal experience with this company clearly demonstrates their fraudulent, deceitful, and downright crooked business operations. Yes - I have proof!
