I was attempting to book a trip through priceline on thursday night; 20 july 2023. Spoke to kylen; they don't give last names. He self appoints himself as my personal manager. That's how he referred to himself in the emails. Isn't that sweet of him? Shoppers beware, these travel agency's use bait and switch, deceptive practices! I can prove it; because I have the emails! Anyways, folks, be persistent; don't tow their company spiel. They lie; right to your ears. Long story, short... Whilst I had kylen on the phone line; yes, he was waiting on me, lmao, I went directly to the airlines carrier website and booked my own tickets. I came in actually $ 2.50 cheaper, lol; plus/including luggage. Luggage consists of 1-carry-on; 1-personal item; and 1-checked bag. This is how the travel agency's rob you... They try to book you for flights that have at least "2-stops". If you're traveling far; it's extremely difficult to find direct flights through travel agency's. They then tell you that your purchased flight is all booked up and they ask you if you're flexible on your schedule. This whole time; while they are attempting to endear themselves to you; after all, they have your best interest in mind; they are fudging the numbers. They come back on the phone; they'll tell you flights aren't available on that particular day; because their manager verified it, they'll change it by 1 or 2-days then send you an email and tell you that you really need to act on this price; because, as consumer's searching "on-line"; we only see delayed pricing. Only they can see real-time pricing. What a joke! So, as they drive your blood pressure up; they come back to you; because you "don't know how lucky you are, we found you a flight." then, they proceed to tell you that it's extra to "upgrade your flight; and, you'll have to pay for your luggage; it's not included. This is now the time that he tells me that each piece of luggage is $ 100.00. What a nice, practical, easy number for everyone. Multiply that number by pieces of luggage and the amount of"stops" in your itinerary; yes!, you'll pay for each stop also; because, they do have to transfer your luggage from one flight to another... Anyone else see; like me, where they rob the consumer? Folks, don't be lazy. Book your own flights. Go directly to the airlines carrier. I hope this helps at least one person.

Desired outcome: STOP BAIT AND SWITCHING CONSUMERS.
