There was an offer of $9.95 to try this e-cigarette. I received the product only for it NOT to work. I called the company back and told them the situation. They in return sent me a new charger and cigarette. I looked on my debit account to find out that they had charged my account $149.90. When i called the Prado phone number the other end was completely dead. I then called the Smokefreely number only to get a man saying that i had agreed to this price, WHICH I HADN'T. This is a total SCAM. I told this man that i will be sending this back and i wanted my account to be reinbursed with the full amount. He said to call back this Friday. He had made out a complaint and was sending it to his supervisor to either be approved or denied. All of you people BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, they will charge YOU!

I agreed to what I thought was a great way to assist my husband who had recent heart surgery to quitting smoking. WRONG WRONG WRONG he dame near had a stroke when he recieved a credit card charges we wernt expecting! I am contacting my local BBB and who ever I have too to get this [censored] taken care of. How dare you give people who suffer from any addiction a positive way to help themselves, with your wonderful prodo product while robbing them of their $. AND THEIR HOPE FOR HELP FIGHTING ADDICTION TO TOBACCO . I WANT PAID BACK FOR THE CHARGES I NEVER SAW IN YOUR OFFER IF I HAD SEEN THEM I WOULD OF NEVER THOUGHT OH WHAT A GREAT DEAL, YOU WILL NOT HEAR THE END OF ME UNTIL I AM SATISFIED

Prado sucked me in. I ordered the product and received my shipment and the charges were correct. I did not order additional shipments every 30 days, however, received a new shipment of cartridges yesterday and was charged a huge amount using my orginal credit card. I have not been able to contact the company by phone, however, have sent an email requesting they stop sending product and remove my credit card from their accounting bank. I will now have to notify my bank to stop future transactions. Sorry company

The product is horrible and the company refuses to refund your money. They tell you that you now own the starter kit and that it can not be returned for a refund! The cartridges are cheap and impossible to attach to the battery and atomizer without getting the liquid on you. Once I did get it all together the taste is awful and it does not seem like you are smoking a real cigarette at all! They should be shut down!

i was charged without consent of 149.90 when the website clearly states free trail for electronic cigareetes i cancel 2 weeks into having the product the young lady at prado said i did not need to do anything else; so i thought i would only be charged the 7.95 plus tax . which i was on acct than i see the 149.90 additional on next statement

they will give you free trial offer for shipping fee only, then weeks later rob your account, and the bank cant help you because you gave them your account number, and recieved something from them.so if you want to try a smoke less cig, go to speedway gas stastion, it will cost you about 160.00 dollars less.

I have the same problem with the Pure brand of e-cigs also. The starters kits are not cheaper either.

I am LIVID at this moment. I, too, signed up for the "free" trial. I was told I would only have to pay s&h for the e-cigarette. I was told it was a 30-day trial. After I received the kit, I was very disappointed. There were little instructions on how to set it up and I found at least 20 typos in the booklet that came with the kit. So, I sent it back. I was then charged TWO charges of $149.90. I called, and spoke to "Anna". She insisted that I had ordered two kits and that it was past the 14 day trial. After much arguing, she assured me that $149.90 would be refunded upon receiving their kit back. As for the other charge of $149.90, "corporate" would have to look into it. I was absolutely furious. This conversation took place 2 weeks ago. Needless to say, I haven't heard from "corporate".
So, today I received another package from them. WTF? I opened it to find 10 refill cartridges. I checked my credit card account. $70 had been charged. I called them and spoke to "Jeri". She says since I ordered two kits and only sent back one, they kept one of my accounts still open and sent me my "needed" refills. So, I had to relay to her the conversation I had had with Anna 2 weeks prior. She says, "oh well, it shows here that two kits went out and I have 2 tracking numbers". I ask her for them. After her reading me the second tracking number, I tell her they are the same exact number. She didn't quite know what to say, other than blaming it on the post office. WOW! Sorry for the long-winded comment, I just needed to vent so badly. This company is basically a big theif, I have no idea how they are still in business. Thankfully, my bank has worked with me on this issue and has refunded me my money. To any of you out there reading this, if you are going through the same thing, be persistent in your efforts to be refunded, Don't let them get you!

The "Prado" company, widely touting "low-cost" introductory or "trial period" offers for their electronic cigarette outfits, are engaged in institutional deception on a grand scale.
Based only on the shear number of complaints and outrage from a quick Google search, this company employs a cleverly disguised scam to acquire the credit card numbers of unsuspecting buyers. The "trial offer" is usually around $10 to $15, and 10 to 15 days later, a surprise charge of $149.90 appears -- some have even reported additional and recurring charges of $69.90 per month.
This company is the epitome of underhandedness and trickery.
I have opened a dispute with my credit card company, will file a sworn affidavit, aggrevated the Prado comany on numerous occasions at [protected] and have contacted several attorneys that have demonstrated a genuine interest in moving forward with a class action lawsuit.
The evidence is overwhelming -- this company needs to be shut down.

The trick to this is to use a pre paid credit card with just enough funds in it to order the thing...Thats what I did and got it in the mail the other day for $12.95...No other charges were even tried on my pre paid credit card...In fact they keep sending adds to do it again...I`m selling the first one on a site for $40...So theres the trick to beating them...

Call your CC company dispute the charge but also get a new card with a different number this will stop the recurring charge.
