I hired POG Movers directly to load up a UHAUL truck with my personal property for a move. I told them to be extra careful with my oak china cabinet base and glass door hutch because it was my deceased mother's and it was the most precious item to me. The two movers - Markus and Cavin refused to honor my request to place blankets between the base and hutch when they loaded the china cabinet onto the UHAUL truck. I even gave them a heavy comforter and an additional blanket to place between it. They did not use the comforter or blanket, they paced the hutch directly on top of the base cabinet onto the truck and then proceeded to pack the truck with everything else in front of it. By the time I saw what they had done, I told them I was upset over not using the blankets and that it would shift while driving the truck, they disagreed with me and told me it would be fine. When I got to my next home, the unloading movers could not believe that no blankets were placed between the hutch and cabinet and we all discovered the multiple scratches and damage to the edge of the base cabinet that was 100% caused by shifting due to not having blankets to protect the two pieces. I advised POG moving company and they told me to file a claim through UHAUL. I talked to UHAUL and they said there would be n coverage because the furniture was not packed on the truck properly. I totally agreed with this and I advised POG movers that I would not pay their moving labor invoice for $345 until they compensate me first for the cost I am going to incur for a furniture repair company to come out and I pray it can be restored. I am so upset that they would treat me this way, my son and I both have used their services over 12 times since 2015. I can't believe they refuse to compensate me for this. The damage would not have occurred if their movers would have properly loaded it onto the truck with the blankets that I provided to them. I have much more damage underneath the hutch, but I can't move it by myself to take more photos.

Desired outcome: I have repeatedly requested they reduce my invoice of $345 first, to compensate me for the cost of a furniture repair man to restore the cabinet/repair the scratches. I am in the process of getting multiple repair quotes.
