A WHILE AGO I REQUESTED INFORMATION FROM A ADVERTISEMENT COMPANY NAME PIC-A-CARD WITCH IS BASED ON KINNELON NEW JERSEY THEY DESIGN PRINT AND DISTRIBUTE BUSINESS CARD AS A FORM OF ADVERTISEMENT. MIKE SIGETY (SALES REP) CONTACTED ME, AND EXPLAIN THAT IN ORDER TO HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE COMPANY AN IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS REQUIRED, WITCH I AGREED. THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT MR. SIGETY ARRIVED 1/2 HOUR LATE NOT A GOOD WAY TO START. THEN HE WENT THROUGH WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THE COMPANY A SHOW SOME FORMER AND CURRENT CLIENTS LETTERS EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND SATISFACTION FROM THE COMPANY PROGRAMS AND THEN WENT UP TO EXPLAIN THE RATES AND THE ADVERTISE PROGRAM. I WAS REALLY SURPRISED THAT THE PROGRAM IS REALLY EXPENSIVE AND THAT THEY DO NOT OFFER ANY KIND OF GUARANTEE THAT I WILL HAVE INCREASED AMOUNT OF CALLS AND OR CLIENTS I WAS NOT SATISFIED NEVERTHELESS I WAS FORCED TO SING A CONTRACT AND GO THROUGH WITH THE ADVERTISEMENT PROGRAM BECAUSE AS MIKE EXPLAIN IS THAT ONCE A SALES REP DO A IN PERSON VISIT TO POTENTIAL CLIENT A DEPOSIT WAS REQUIRED ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT IMPRESS OR SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICES. COUPLE DAYS LATER MY CAR BROKE DOWN AND I REALIZED THAT IN ORDER TO HAVE MY CAR FIXED I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAY FOR THE ADVERTISEMENT SERVICES OF PIC-A-CARD; SO WENT AHEAD AND CALLED MIKE SIGETY BACK AND EXPLAIN THE MY CURRENT SITUATION TO HIM AND REQUEST NOT TO DEPOSIT THE CHECK I HAVE WRITTEN TO HIM FOR THE SERVICES HE TOLD ME THAT ONCE A DEPOSIT IS MADE THERE IS NO REFUND BUT DO TO THE SITUATION HE WILL ALLOW TO DELAY THE DEPOSIT OF THE CHECK. LATER ON I NOTICED THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAY FOR PIC-A-CARD SERVICES DUE TO PREVIOUS FINANCIAL COMPROMISES AND I DID NOT REALIZED THAT BEFORE I SIGN THE “CONTRACT” WITH PIC-A-CARD RIGHT NOW MY FINANCIAL DISTRESS CONTINUES AND I AM FORCED TO FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY I WROTE A LETTER TO MIKE SIGETY WHO IS MY ONLY CONTACT PERSON FROM PIC A CARD AND REQUEST TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT BUT THEY SAID THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE AND THAT IS MANDATORY TO GO AHEAD WITH THIS CONTRACT I EXPRESS TO HIM MY DISSATISFACTION WITH HIM AND HIS COMPANY AND LET HIM KNOW THAT I WILL INTRODUCE THE COMPLAINT AND GO THROUGH OTHER MEANS TO CANCEL THIS ABSURD CONTRACT .

I worked for this company for a very short time in the mid 99's. You are by no means the first unhappy customer. I'm surprised they are still in business. Good luck to you in settling this.

I want to thank you for your posting as it saved me a lot of trouble with dealing with this unprofessional company. I read your post after I got an email from them and have gotten annoying calls and texts from him as well, hopefully they will do the right thing and remove us from their lists as we requested. I cannot imagine dealing with an individual like this ever again.

Dear Peter

Per your request, we emailed you a link to our website and a PDF file explaining the program and the rates. I followed up with a phone conversation asked if you have any questions and I explained the program again. I then asked you if you would like to get together, and you agreed. I make it clear to every appointment, including you, that I will need a deposit when I come to visit you, and you agreed this would be ok. If you did not agree, I would not have come, i would have said for you to call me when you are in a position to move forward, but I can not make house calls just to explain the information to you again. I asked if we could meet some where mutually convienent, but you said I had to come to you place at 421 Jersey Street Harrison, NJ 07029, so I did.

The purpose of our meeting was to review what we talked and emailed about, and to design the advertisement and to pick up a deposit. You gave me all the literature that I needed to design your advertisement and directed me as to how you would like it to look. Furthermore, I am a 150lbs, I did not force you nor would I force anyone to sign up for anything, however maybe you did feel obligated because we talked about a deposit being due when I was there. The reason we ask for a deposit is because I had already explained the program and haveot budget a half a day for our (or any) appointemtn. I have to leave over an hour drive each way and an hour for the appointment, that is half the day to sevice your account. You have not lost your deposit, you have just paid for a portion of the order. I also allowed you to change your order to the absolute smallest plan that we offer, which is about $2 a day.

I am sorry you are not happy, this is the first complaint we have ever had in 19 years of business. I am not sure how long you have been in business, but it seems like a very short time since you have another full time job as well.

I look forward to servicing your account and making you another happy customer
Sincerely
Mike Sigety
