I would like to join the lawsuit against my mortgage company PHH /Owen Mortgage company. I paid my mortgage twice a month for almost 20yrs never missing a note. I read what the final outstanding principal on my account and paid that amount. I also, called and stated what my intent was for this payment. After calling I was told I would be receiving refund of $4,300.00 and new statement says I now owe over $11,00.00 more for my home and I just made a payment over a $1,500.00 and had to pay $30.00 to get access to my payoff balance. Now, I'm told if I pay $6,212.94. I can finally be paid off. This company is ripping people off and I want to become part of the lawsuit against them.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome is to let people know that this company is unethical and since I believe, I have been ripped off all these years, I am requesting a settlement of $11,000.00 payment and clear title of my home.
