my husband and i visited with a pug in their store on september 14th, and noticed that he was limping a little bit. before we purchased him, as we asked why he was limping and the girl [who now, i am assuming was a new employee at the time] stated that he'd been asleep in the display case all morning, so he was just waking up. we took him home with us for a little under $2, 000 [yikes, but worth it] and two weeks later, we were at the vet with him because the issues with his hip were still there. the vet we went to see was the vet that the store does business with, so our visit [only our first visit] was free. long story short, we told them we felt something was wrong with his hips - and they did xrays of his legs and nothing of his hips.

now our pug is seven months old and can hardly walk. nobody will help us out with this company. if it comes down to it, we will be taking them to court. but i wanted to make sure the world knew what sort of "customer service" they're dealing with prior to going to this store and buying animals.

I had just checked out the pembrooke mall for the first time today. Me, being the animal lover that i am, the pet go round store caught my eye. The second we walked in, there were four employees just standing at the counter all on their cell phones. Not a single greeting from one of them. My friend and I started looking around at all of the dog toys, and then we made our way over to the pups. Immediately these two larger puppies in the same cage started going crazy, like they wanted attention, and I was definitely willing to give it to them. I walked over to the counter to request to play with those larger dogs (german shepards), they kind of laughed and then told me those dogs were too rambunctious to play with AFTER telling me that I could pick out any pup to play with. I told them I wanted to play with those dogs, I am used to big dogs jumping, and I can handle it very well. I told them I felt bad for them because they are clearly too big to be in the same little cage together, but they informed me not to feel bad because "they get plenty of attention" They still told me no. So I requested a different pup, just to spend some time with at least one of the neglected animals. While I was in the pen with the pup, I noticed that one of the two dogs that I had originally requested to play with started to poop, both of the dogs in the cage immediately went for the poop and started eating it, like they were starving, and with no hesitation. I couldn't believe my eyes. As I was walking out the store, there were now FIVE employees standing around the register behind the counter, all face down on their cell phones, texting and snap-chatting... as I walked by I stopped and said "You guys have a GREAT day!"... they still couldn't even take the time to look up at me. NOT happy with my first experience, and definitely not impressed with this company.
