Paradigm IAS Academy: Beware of the Cheaters
The choice of subjects and appropriate coaching class are perhaps the most important decisions in an aspirant’s journey towards success in UPSC (IAS). It is very essential that we should make a knowledgeable and pious person as “GURU”. In Delhi, Lot of coaching classes have mushroomed, but the candidates who have made it to IAS, generally give the right advice of choosing the right teacher.
In Mumbai/Pune/Nagpur, there is a dearth of good guidance/coaching. That’s where, opportunistic and greedy individuals (who themselves couldn’t clear UPSC, in 4 attempts), open the classes as a means of living and in the process push the students on wrong path and cheats them. Such teachers generally rely on their preparation notes (and material they get from other coaching institutes in Delhi), as they are generally found wanting, when it comes to explanation of a term/subject/fact. These teachers charge the poor students exorbitantly and student more often than not, pays the amount in hope of realising his long cherished dream and non-availability of options.
(ran by Mr. Ambrish Kumar) is a 100% personification of above mentioned evils. I was a student in his class in Mumbai and all of my classmates felt cheated in terms of money, time, effort, preparation seriousness.
Here is some of the very common feedback that I have got:
No interest in well-being of student- Greedy for fees: He won’t give u single of his notes, until and unless you have paid fees in advance.
No teaching in class: He gives you his prepared notes (which he made during his prep time, or made by students) and that’s all. No explanation of notes. No answers to the questions (citing that you will get answer in notes).
No planning: He will give you lot of plans in beginning and will try to lure you in. But he sticks to none of his plans. Absolutely no teaching in class, all of the time is spent in breaking up the distribution of marks in UPSC (which student can easily come to know from chronicle).
Mismanagement of tests and notes: No ordering of notes and tests. Tests are copied from tests in Delhi. Answer keys are not supplied with tests. If a geography test is announced for the next week, then a current affair test is given (since due to his laziness, he was not able to prepare Geography test). Similarly if it was told that Geography will be taught next week, and then you are in for a surprise, he will teach you India Year Book, that too, trivial state information in alphabetical order, read from the book(because, he didn’t prepare for teaching of the subject).
Exorbitant amount of tuition fees: 15000 for 12 classes of prelims GK! In each class, the most important event is receiving of notes!
Money, Money and more Money: You will get lot of teachers in Delhi, who will teach the deserving students for free

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
guys stop the blame game! none of us were forced to join this institution... like every marketing person he used his stategies...
i agree to points put forth but that does not give anyone a reason to use public forum as a mean to demean someone. i m not supporting anyone or against anyone... its just that i find such act petty and we as aspiring officers, instead of cribing should learn to find opportunity in crisis...

I totally agree with Mr. bir and well wisher 2010...and totally disagree with mr.adin and Mr. Vinod Kavle...it is just not t worst class but t pathetic class..in all over india...in hindi we say jab bura wakt ata hai to log pair per kulhadi marte hain lekin jab ghatia wakt ata hai to log kulhadi per pair marte hain, , , , and joining this class means ( Kulhadi per pair marna )...
My personal observation of paradigm IAS academy.
In general a student comes to the coaching class with a hope to crack his cherished goal but by joining this academy he cracks his own dream of being an civil servant.Student invests 70 to 80 thousand in this coaching class and endup in no mans land.
No systematic strategy or any plan for cracking civil services...
U can just imagine a single person trying to teach entire topics of both GS and Optional subjects, , , , i think t person having so much command on each subject as booasted by Mr.Ambrish, would have topped UPSC exam and UPSC would hv felicitated him with Swami Vivekanand award and bollywood would hv made a movie Swami Vivekanand part 2.
To conclude t comment "Paradigm IAS academy stands for only incomming and no outgoing facility, in short its a money minting academy with zero percent output.
Seminars given by paid IAS officer doesnt make t academy good fr coaching it is just another way to fool amd trap new students just for menting money.And i m very sorry to mention that IAS officers like honourable Mr.Vinod Kavle delivers a seminar in such a academy without knowing its strategy, planning and quality of teaching, enen Mr.Vinod Kavle was surprised to here that single person teaches al t subjects and stated ( how can a single person can teach al t subjects).
i would like to request Mr.Vinod Kavle to please collect correct information and feeback about t academy which offers him to deliver guest lecture bcoz unknowingly he also becomes a part of pushing students in the trap placed by such coaching classes like Paradigm IAS academy.
This is specially addressed to the Person as well this site kown as consumercomplaints.in, who has purposely done a false complaint, against the highly reputed Academy without any logic . I request this site to immediately remove such false complaints.
Or else we have to go to our level to do so...
My view for Paradigm IAS Academy, as i personally know is excellent guide for Civil services Examination.
It's easy to pass such Comments on HIGHLY REPUTED ACADEMY TO MAKE IT MORE POPULAR AND HIGHLIGHT IT.BUT PARADIGM IAS ACADEMY DOSN'T NEED SUCH COMMENTS TO FEEL IT REALLY MUST VISIT & THEN COMMENT. Just sitting before screen and passing the comments does not let down the reputation of it, but really finds helpful to do the best more for us.Being the STUDENT OF PARADIGM IAS ACADEMY I, REALLY NOT ONLY CHEERED MY DREAMS BUT ALSO IT GAVE MY MUCH MORE THAN I DESERVE. SO it's my kind request to the guy who is posting such silly comments, plz do not misguide others for your dirty selfishness.
Hi, me the Student of Paradigm IAS Academy really find shocked to read such types of Rubbish & ill words for a reputed & well-known Academy. As i have gone through my experience i found the best place to fulfill my dream. it not only just best, but as i have gone through the notes, strategy and the teaching pattern it's all rich, adequate and worthy.Not too much to say from my side, but ARE THE HONEST WORDS OF MR. VINOD KAVLE (IAS 2008 BATCH), DURING THE SESSION ATTENDED BY ME IN MUMBAI'S CLASS SEMINAR. AND OBVIOUSLY SUCH AN HONOURABLE OFFICER CAN'T LIE OR DOSEN'T NEED ANY GREED OR LURE TO SAY THIS. IT'S ONLY THE HARDWORK, HONESTY AND EFFORTS OF OUR REPUTED SIR, MR. AMBRISH KUMAR THAT HAS GIVEN ME STRENGTH TO QUALIFY THE EXAM.
Don't know why this STUPID DDDDD, GUY, Who himselves seems to be jealous, crazy & may be syco or don't believes in himself, blames others for his own effortless failures, IS WORTHLESS HAS TRIED TO MISGUIDE ALL THE ASPIRANTS. I HV NO DOUBT THAT PARADIGM IAS ACADEMY STANDS THE BEST WAY IT CAN & IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO FIND OUR WAY.
