Palliser Leather Furniture review: Leather is cracking and peeling

Bought a leather sofa and loveseat for over $4,000. We noticed in one area (not bonded leather area) was cracking and peeling.
Contacted Heritage Furniture Peterborough, no help
Contacted Palliser, warranty expired 2 months ago, too bad, so sad
Contacted warranty company that I paid extra for, no help.
I really thought dealing with reputable companies would give me furniture that would last more than 5 years.
We really have no faith in companies anymore. No customer service, just want your money
