So, I was searching for a job on Craigslist, as I have been for the last 2 months here in Las Vegas, and I came across a job titled General Office: general office, recpt/ asst. manger, rock n roll atmosphere ..are staff is 18 - 25 and we have fun at work. no exp we train. call 257 9012 and what they claim to compensate you $400 a week. Sounds great...huh? Well I called and got an interview that same day. When I arrived I was seated in a small room in a very small office and told to fill out the piece of paper that I was given. I did and then myself and 2 other people walked into 'the office' where there was nicely dressed guy named Billy (William). He explained that they were not a door to door 'pyramid' business and that they were not looking for employees, yet managers. I was definitely ready to be somewhere higher at this point in my career, so it sounded great. He told me to come back for another interview tomorrow morning at 10am. So I did, as did about 30 other people. We were told to fill in all the seats and were literally bumping arms as we were told to write down what he was telling us. He went on and on about such great things. How the creator of the company originally was a self made millionaire, Johnny Whitworth. Even went on to say that he retired the 'World Perfume Inc company' last year in his lower 80's and how his son played in such movies as The Rainmaker and Empire Records. Do some research, Johnny Whitworth is 32 years old and is actually the actor. Maybe this guy thinks everyone in Las Vegas is stupid, but I'm not. I did my research when I got home since when you initially go or even call you don't know the name of the company or really what it's about. It's so horrible what these scammers are doing to innocent people and with gas almost $5.00 a gallon, he got money out of me too for wasting it! He said that he moved to Texas and met with Johnny Whitworth and learned everything from him and since he retired, the guy William, aka Billy, was starting his own company here and is looking to expand in all areas along the West Coast. Come to find out there are 87 reports on this company 'World Perfume Inc' in which in this guy's office he had many shirts hanging on the walls that read World Perfume Inc and O.W.O. Inc. I guess to make it look legit. There was 2 girls in the front when you walk in that claim to be the receptionists, but they are probably workers that go to parking lots with him and sell the perfume. I can't imagine what those girls are making or why they would even be there. Maybe he paid them to just sit there, be pretty and tell people what to do. It seems like they hardly use the office, just there for a meeting ground and to look professional. The business card the guy gave me also said the address is 3110 S Polaris #23, but the directions I was given, the building is actually on Procyon St. Appliers BEWARE. ITS A SCAM. DON'T WASTE YOUR GAS DOING THIS. It's only empty promises. It is a marketing scam, it is a pyramid scam, and the job listing is a scam it's self. Maybe this guy has some money or something to provide you with whatever they say they're going to. Yea the $5 off selling a $25 bottle of perfume or the $10 off selling a $35 bottle of perfume. Or how about the countless 'additives' he said you would make for selling a certain number of bottles. Then claims that there is a 'set' amount of money guaranteed which is $1800 a month paid bi-weekly or get paid every week doing what he called the 'override system' where you could make some outrageous amount like $570-$920 a week getting paid based off the amount of bottles your 'team' sells. I'm figuring that's how they get you. They make you think you are going to make so much more doing the override system way that you would not want the guaranteed amount. Oh yea 'team' did I forget to mention that. During the interview you are told we are not looking for employees, yet managers. You do the 8-16 weeks training (which is actually you selling the perfume for the 'claimed' manager of that office), IF you are good at it and sell a certain amount, I guess he gives you $3000 to put toward office space after your 'training' so you can do what he is doing and con some more people. Then you have other people (like what I would be doing for him-selling) selling your product. He claims they have a base where they have chemists and all in Miami, called it Parfume du Mont. Don't fall victim to this scam now in Las Vegas. I guess he thought he could move here and since the employment is so bad here, he could get people to easily do this. I'M NOT! Thanks for your time reading this if you have. Check out the 87 reports on World Perfume Inc. Their story is the same, yet most of the cases were east coast. IT'S HERE NOW on the WEST! Good luck to all in their endeavors!

So thankful for this ! I was on indeed and everything in the job sounded great! I got a call the same day literally 20 minutes after I applied, the guy didn’t leave a voicemail so I called back to find the “company O.W.O” uses a google voice phone number and I thought something didn’t seem right about the situation luckily my boyfriend pointed out it was probably a scale before I wasted anymore time. I decided to look online about the company as to what the hell it even was as nobody has even heard of it yet it’s “mentioned in Forbes and major magazines” BS thank god for this review. Someone need to take this guy down before he victimizes more people In need.
