My Booking Reference with Onthebeach is MYB12240256B

This relates to a holiday I booked for my wife and myself to an Apartment Complex in Lanzarote. Due to financial cicumstances it became apparent that we would not be able to take the holiday on the original dat. We therefore lodged a request to change the date. On checking the flight costs for our revised dates we noted that the costs were cheaper. However Onthebeach informed us that it would cost us more to effect the change, Our only option now was to cancel the entire booking even though we had already paid £343.76 towards the original booking. But now Onthebeach have told us that we must pay a further cancellation fee of £367.43

We have tried to get through to Onthebeach to discuss a resolution to this matter but have spent hours hanging on the phone line or waiting for Live Chat to respond and we have made no progress. We have emailed and had no response other than to be told to expect a response within 56 days.

The overall service from this company is diabolical and added to that they are seeking to take £700.00 off us for a holiday we are not able to go on.. We cannot even speak to anyone to try and come to some sort of acceptable arrangement. THEY ARE SIMPLY UNCONTACTABLE AND UNINTERESTED IN THE NOTION OF CUSTOMER CARE.

Desired outcome: To establish meaningful contact to discuss a resolution.
