I have contacted this business concerning their continuous breach of contract over 10 times over a now 3 month period
I have contacted this business concerning their continuous breach of contract over 10 times over a now 3 month period. I have cancelled my agreement in writing as requested. I have yet to be contacted for the transferal of my property and the company is completely unresponsive. I am so concerned that I have now sought legal guidance, at this point.

Tuesday night we discovered we had no gas services to our apartment
Tuesday night we discovered we had no gas services to our apartment. Our lease clearly states that water and gas is provided by the landlord. We also noticed the tenants above us moved out (we live in an English basement). Nomadic Real Estate (NMR) claimed initially that tenants were moving in on Wednesday/Thursday and gas services would resume. It is now the weekend. Regular conversations/emails with NMR has not resolved the issue. Gas services are still off 5 days later.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I have been experiencing the same issue as many other former tenants of Nomadic Real Estate
I have been experiencing the same issue as many other former tenants of Nomadic Real Estate. After following their established procedures for ending the lease and moving out, they have continued to automatically debit my bank account for the property that I have vacated. I continuously have difficulty in getting in touch with someone and when I finally do get in touch, the representative will inform me that they will notify the Accounting department to refund the erroneous rent charge. Although I have had this conversation multiple times, I have yet to actually receive the refund. After reading the number of other complaints with this same exact issue, it appears that they have not attempted to fix this issue although they have been made aware that this issue exists. In certain circumstances, this could be considered predatory business practices in that they are hoping that former tenants are not checking that they are still being charged by Nomadic. I will definitely not advise anyone to rent from Nomadic, nor would I suggest any owners to higher Nomadic as property managers based on their extremely slow response time.

As your lease end date was July 31st, we have up to 45 days to return your security deposit per DC law so we anticipate having that back to you soon.
