Filed claim on January 24th, after not being able to claim benefits I finally got through to them on 2/18/21 and was told I was randomly selected for a DCT verification. I emailed over all the requested information on 2/18 and my email wasn't read until 3/4/21. March 9th was told it could take 4 weeks. If not payment by 3/12 to call back. Called again 3/15 and was told it can take 4 to 8 weeks. That should get payment by May. In May still nothing, told that they are now using ID.me for verification. I went through the process and was verified on May 5th. ID.me said they would have information within 3 days. May 11th spoke to DoL and was told it take 15 business days for DoL to get the information. June 1st called to make sure they had received the information was told have to wait 15 days, said it's been a month and she hung up on me. June 2nd was told they still don't have the information from ID.me she would send the request to the Supervisor. I then opened a support ticket with ID.me and still haven't heard back. Today 6/15 called DoL again and was told they still don't have it and I need to work that out with ID.me. How am I supposed to do that if they don't get back to me and I can't call them. She hung up on me too, I also asked for a Supervisor. Nobody at DoL is held accountable or helpful. I am entitled to this money, I pay into it. This is not part of the PUA.
In the last 6 months, I have had no communication from NJ Department of Labor only my approval letter and notice of my weekly benefit. I am entitled to 10 weeks of unemployment and the $300 a week for the relief bill.

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: Claim validated so I get paid
