Ng Teng Fong General Hospital review: ill-treat old patient.

I admitted my dad to ng teng fong general hospital due to he had a fall. But to my astonishment, when the next morning my sisiters and I went to visit him we saw him sat on the geriatric chair and looked very tire.

He complained to us that the nurses made him sleep on the chair throughout the night when he was awarded. Upon verifying this with the head nurse who was in the morning shift she said they would investigate. When I questioned her why my dad was on the chair she simply said that they just put him to sit on the chair a moment ago. What a coincidence that we happened to witness, trying to bluf her way through?!

Much later I got a letter from the hospital by jolyn tan as assistant director nursing which told me the same thing and expected us to believe. What nonsence is she trying to say and I wonder how she climded to this position which she is not capable of!

I went to them personally on 15/06/17 and spoke to service assurance dept. - mildred tan, the executive and later with amy rita who was so defending and kept telling me off. Many times she interrupted me when I tried to explained the situation to her. Very rude of her and shame she is holding the position as senior executive. They said would get back to me again but til now no news from them, guess they are thinking that we may have forgotten this issue.

Poorly or untrained staffs and worst still they never informed us about changing my dad's ward and sunddenly called and said they had to do so.

Hence, with the "nightmares" and unprofessional staffs this hospital provides, we have no choice but to discharge my dad earlir for he dreaded of staying there for another single second, after we had feedback this to the doctoer in charge who too was trying his very best to side the nurses but I rebuked him til he had no better reason to pacify us on this case.

Never expected this to happen in singapore hospital!
