This is a China man-run shop in Sim Lim Square Level 5 Unit 24.
I happened to be at Singapore Expo for an IT Exhibition over the weekend and decided the buy a phone from these guys.

What was conveyed to me : Phone is very good, no problems, supports 3G, 1 Year warranty.

What I got after trying out the simcard and charging the phone up:
-No 3G (Only 2G)

So I called them up to let them know about the problem and they asked me to make a trip down. I am a working adult like many others and have very little to no time on my hands for this kind of stuff. But no choice, so I went down.

Salesman A: "Your sim card might be faulty. Go to M1 and change."

So I thought, ok maybe it's really faulty. I made the trip from sim lim to paragon and rushed back to simlim again because the problem was still there.

Salesman A went ROUNDS AND ROUNDS talking nonsense about "Oh the phone is like that one"

Me: "What do you mean is like that one? You told me that it supports 3G but now it only supports 2G. If you had told me that the phone only supports 2G, I wouldn't have bought it!"

Salesman A: "But you need to understand that when selling products no one will tell you the bad side of their products, only the good. It is not my fault that the phone can't support 3G. It is the manufacturer's fault."

Me: "So you're telling me that you sold me a phone that only supports 2G, when you told me it supports 3G? I want a refund."

Salesman A: "Ok if refund we will only refund 60% of the amount."

Salesman B suddenly came in to try to reduce the tension as I was going to lose my mind.

Salesman B: "I will try to help you change to another unit and see if the problem persists."

So I waited for about 30 minutes while he fiddled around. What it seemed like is that they had alot of returns on their stash and was finding one to just throw to me again.

Salesman B: "Okay already. Now have 3G connection."

When I checked, the signal was jumping every 4-5 seconds betweeen 2G and 3G. So I asked him, this is called have 3G?

Salesman A was starting to get impatient as if I was irritating them.

Salesman B: "Ok I go try one more set."

He brings me another set after another 30minutes, this time without any jumpy 3G connection. But just when I thought it was finally over, after 20 minutes of usage, I found out that part of the screen was nutty and would automatically press onto icons. At that point of time I had already left SLS after about 5 hours of attending to this stupid issue.

I decided to make a trip back to the shop the next day during lunch break and Salesman A told me "Aiya I will just give you refund tomorrow. You bring the box and everything back."
What the hell?! I made so many trips up and down only to be sent back because of the peripherals. I shall make a trip back tomorrow. The refund better not be 60%.

Bottomline is, guys, don't ever buy anything from them.

Dear Sir,

Yesterday ( 28th Dec 2014 ), i bought a MI 10400 MAh Power Bank for SGD 15 from your shop., later after reaching home, when I opened up, surprised that that product which you gave is fake and not the real MI Power bank.

(By looking the outer cover, we believe that its original ( because of shining hologram & barcode numbers ), but when we actually open the box, we are sure, that have been cheated by New Star Electronics )

Appreciate, if you could replace me with Original MI Power Bank. Attached all the relevant documents like, Receipt, Original Cover etc.

Srinivason.
