NeuroRestorative review: Safety of students

They pay awful and I’ve only seen the program that takes away and zero positive reinforcement. There are no real teachers there, they allowed sexual abuse to a resident with autism that were in the same house and first time it was reported they just moved rooms and it kept happening until they finally moved residents to seperate houses. They allow staff to be bullied and there’s only a lpn there and no checks and balances. Poor training and they could care less about students they have meds everywhere and prescriptions that should have been given to family’s. They let an 18 year old runaway and then he burnt his family’s home. There rarely is full staffing And no communication between houses and school. I’ve heard the staff making fun of incoming student about weight. They have cameras I. Houses and saw or smelled staff drinking and the staff should have been fired but instead sent out a vague email asking staff to not drink, could be a factor in all of the med issues. The kids are the best thing there most of them are just kids w bad backgrounds no traumatic brain injury’s and hardly any of staff even have kids and have zero clue on how to reach them instead they fight w kids and trigger them and then the kids act out bc they lose the little freedoms they have. There’s no connection or positive reinforcement. The houses are not repaired when students destroy them there’s wood boarded up on windows. Major hippa violations and staff retaliation
