I have worked as a sub-contractor for this company for several years and they are misclassifying employees as sub-contractors.
Requirements
All work must be completed within 72 hours
They price all work
Any bids run through cost estimator
Must log into their system and except work within 8 hours
National Field Reps has 100s of subcontractors working in the state of NJ and each so-called sub has the same rules.
I am willing to sit down with the DOL and fill the state in on this industry I work in and turn over several large companies breaking the NJ state laws on Sub-contractors.
Between unemployment benefits and work comp these companies would owe the state, it would run in the tens of millions of dollars. These are companies doing millions of dollars in business in New Jersey a year. I sent a letter to the DOL in February 2022 certified. with no response.
Desired outcome: I would like a response that DOL has assigned someone to start looking into this complaint. My contact information Kevin K 848-992-1764I need to file for unemployment until this investigation is over.
How long does it take the Department of Labor to look into a complaint?
