This Company is very much a scam. I paid for the $49.95 "Get Started Kit" only to have learned a good lesson a few days ago. There is no phone number to call for assistance. It doesn't just end at the $49.95 fee as one link goes into another, and another to another wanting more money to access companies in need of Data Entry Personnel. There is no such list as the link supplied gives you access to "Yahoo Hot Jobs" which I could have accessed myself rather than paying $49.95. Then when I clicked on their Live Help icon it had pre-automated statements making no sense to the point of irritating me so much I starting arguing with a non live person. Sheez...

I emailed the Company back and asked them to cancel my order with them telling me they are not able to since the Starter Kit had already been shipped out. I ended up calling my Credit Card Company and have the charges disputed. What a headache this was. As a result of this I ended up paying for Fraud Insurance on a monthly basis as they advised me now that they have my credit card information, they could use my card.

This little adventure of mine ended up costing "ME" money in the end. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!

If anyone knows of any legit, NON-SCAM Companies please ship me an email..

I am extremely upset and angry that I gave $49.95 to such an online scammer! And all I wanted, and needed, to do was make some extra money to live on.

I also learned the hard way that when I see an "opportunity" that requires an upfront fee to run as fast as I can in the opposite direction.

There are a ton of ways of making money - especially online. My first suggestion would be to go to It's a forum for people who want to make money online. Sign up (it's free) and read every post you can. Don't post anything until you've read and re-read just about everything.

Check out Keith Kogane's threads and XFactor. Also, read anything from Martin Avis and Paul Myers. Quality people and top notch information.

There are a number of ways you can go and this forum will give you a free education. Once you've learned the basics, you can get started for nothing or very little. Very little in this case means about $10 for a domain name and $10 a month for hosting with Hostgator (DON'T use GoDaddy).

Another great place to go is There's a ton of great info there and it's a quality product. You do have to pay for a full year upfront, but they do that so you'll make a serious commitment to your success.

Another great site is Again, tons of great information that doesn't cost you a darn thing.

Also, check out I'd recommend buying this eBook because it has some good stuff (and don't get the Jr. version, the full version is worth the small additional cost.) Dennis Becker who wrote the book and runs the forum is a stand-up guy and you'll get a useful insight into how to make success happen for you.

Check out The eBook is free and there’s a ton of good stuff here and a solid technique.

If you’re a writer or have any writing talent, get Jim Cockrum’s eBook, The Silent Sales Machine ( A lot of great info and a solid technique.

If you're not afraid of hard work, you can make this happen. And you don't have to spend a lot of money or buy “opportunities” that are simply there to take your cash and leave you in the lurch wondering what to do and where to go.

I’m also in the process of creating a website for people who are looking to re-invent themselves and make real money working from home. I’ve gotten sick of the scams out there (especially since I got screwed by WAY too many of them, myself). The site is just getting started (November 2009), so there isn’t a lot there yet, but you’re welcome to stop by and see what’s going on. I’ll be researching opportunities and pointing people in the right direction. I’ll try to get an eMail form up this week so you can get updates and let me know what you want me to check out for you. I’ll also be putting up a forum so you’ll have a place to ask questions and connect with others in the same leaky boat.

One thing I’ve figured out, though, is that this crappy economy has a golden lining. If you’ve hated your job for years or haven’t been able to have the life you want, this is the perfect time to find out what you want and make a switch to something you love that will give you the income you want. Giving up your time and control to a company that gives crappy pay with few raises, no loyalty and no security in return is no way to live.

Most importantly, don’t pay up front for “opportunities” (with the exception of MLM). It’s a dead giveaway that it’s a scam.

I hope to see you at, but even if you decide not to check it out, at least go to the other sites I’ve mentioned and see if there’s something there for you. Because you CAN make this happen!

Taht is me right now, I am looking for something to make extra money from home. This data entry I thought really sounded interesting but I do not have the extra money to just keep buying into companies to get the info I need> Can someone advise me?

Sep 21, 2009 5:11 pm EDT

When people say there is "some work involved" do they really mean "more fees to pay"? I'm not afraid to work for my money but in no way am I looking to part with what little money I still have to get nothing in return.

Ok...So for the people that are saying its not a scam, how many of you are the ones responsible for this scam? Yeah, my piont exactly. So quick to defend the business! What a coinsidence!

Sep 04, 2009 11:32 am EDT

its hard to tell whos telling the truth...we must alwayas remember that we are the one responsible in every action we made thats why we must be very careful in picking a job and we see to it that we must search or find a way first if the job or company is legitimate or not.

National Data Entry isn't a scam - I think $49.95 is VERY reasonable for info on how to make money online as long as it works, and it does if you actually do it. Unfortunately there are way too many serial refunders out there ready to cry 'scam' as soon as they realize there is some work involved. There's no such thing as 'get rich quick' and people need to face up to that.

Aug 14, 2009 2:18 pm EDT

You get what you pay for and $49.95 isn't going to get you alot.I don't find that NDE misrepresents itself at all, it makes no promise that you will get rich by sitting on your butt.It does however provide a person with legitimate information that if applied does give a person the oppurtunity to generate income.
My time is valuable to me and what I gleaned from their kit was well worth the price as it would of taken me conciderable time to search out the same information cold.

I signed up with national data entry and I have made good money using their program. Everyone is quick to call things they dont understand a scam. You people should be ashamed, get off your butt and work for once in your lives. I know its not a lot of money but I have made about $1000 using their instructions.

Yeh National Data Entry and their Alisha Carter are crooks. Why does Google allow them to operate? She took me for $49.95 and I haven't seen their famous refund yet.Anybody thinking of hooking up with these scammers should think again.Consumer protection in the States is a joke!

National data entry is not a scam but only that you have to pay for signing up fee then you're left alone to choose your next move which might require some extra bucks. but honestly it's not a scam. i used to work with them i use free have to learn the ropes to earn money and and that's what home business requires.

Hi CCRider,
My question is this... So you pay for the starter kit but, after reading and going through the videos and such, do you actually get a list of companies that need data entry help (or whatever they're looking for). Can you make some money on this system if you do NOT link to all the other sites? Do you have any indication how current their list is? If I go for something like this I will NOT fork out more that the fee for the starter kit. Not one dime. I have an email into Nat'l asking what are the hidden fees.

What I suspect the answer from Nat'l will be is that there are not other fees -- which, from what I've been reading is technically is true -- any other fees are those you choose to pay for linking to the other services is your responsibility and Nat'l takes no responsibility for such. Nat'l only charges the $49.95 fee. What you choose to do after that is out of their hands,
